I could not be MORE pleased. For a great price, Jose & his crew tore out my old cement pad and poured a beautiful porch on my house. He proved several times to be an honest, fair, kind person when he could've used my naïveté about such projects to get more money out of me and instead told me the truth and advised me wisely. I'm so happy with my porch, I'm having them install a new driveway!

From beginning to end Scott was professional and thorough. I needed my front porch framed in a hurry. He not only completed the job on time but it looks great too! He was very reasonably priced and honest to boot. I couldn't be happier with his services and I will definitely hire him for future projects.

Randy installed a wall sconce chandelier in my home. It took about an hour and a half (including putting all the chandelier pieces together) Professional, knowledgeable and on time! He cares about the work he does not just about the paycheck he will receive. He cleans up after himself, which as alot of us know, many handymen don't. He is very reasonably priced, works quickly while maintaining the quality of work I require. Randy will be my handyman for years to come!

I accepted Gil's proposal based on the fact that he mentioned he had no overhead, like the bigger, more corporate companies, and therefore could be more fairly priced around my budget. I was very specific about everything I wanted to do, during our meeting, and I even wrote down an agreement with a list of everything I expected. I mentioned that I would like to physically go along with him to buy paints and baseboards, when it came time. We agreed on 30% upfront and 70% upon proper completion of all listed work. I'll list my experiences by positives and negatives: -Positives: Gil is quick to respond to messages and texts, he offered ideas as to how we could tackle the project. He's got a gentle soul, and he's a nice and respectful person. Our agreement in summary: Pop corn removal/texture application, includes planning, equipment, materials, area prep, roll/finish texture (Orange Peel) Every ceiling removed of pop corn. Wallpaper Removal/Glass removal. Includes everything plus setup and cleanup. Interior House Painting, scrape, sand, patch holes, defects, roll/spray or brush all walls, and all ceilings removed of wallpaper. Everything included, except cost of paint (which we were going to buy together) Knocking down 2 walls, to open up the rooms (Kitchen and livingroom/diningroom installing baseboards around the whole house. I gave him 30% as agreed. The first issue is, some wallpapers weren't removedas agreed, in the dining room, they were painted over instead, and when i realized this, I brought it up to Gil. He did rectify the issue, but I was sore at the fact that it wasn't done properly the first time around. The kitchen wall wasn't torn down and opened as I requested, and Gil mentioned that there was a load bearing issue. I feel others have done this successfully, and he should have been able to offer a solution, instead, we turned it into a window/bar situation, (which added costs, because now I had to hire someone else to make a bar, and i wasn't given a break on the price) The job took a lot longer than I was promised. I Hired gil on May 5th, and it wasn't completed until around the 19th. The master bedroom wasn't all done to satisfaction, because of some unforeseen circumstances, and all the mirrors which I'd mentioned to be disposed off, are still in my garage, and I believe Gil has left it up to me to dispose of them, which wasn't our agreement The spray painting was good enough, but every single door frame has paint unevenly bleeding into its edges. I don't feel proper prep time was dedicated to the edges and lines. I've had to hire someone else to come paint the frames, to clean them up. The wallpaper removal was very impressive, and I bet time consuming. He removed all the wallpaper as requested, the only issue I see with that is, the surface wasn't smoothed out properly, and some areas on the wall especially towards the floor, are a little rough. Altogether, commendable work. The baseboards weren't painted before installation, and I wasn't informed that this would make it difficult to paint, in the future. Having hired someone else to do the painting, it costs so much more. The installation was fantastic, everything fits, and everything is smooth, and properly caulked and ready for painting. I was never told when the paints were bought, yet, i had to reimburse for the purchases, and I still haven't found any of the cans. -The closets weren't prepped properly, and have uneven paint lines going to them, and at the corners and edges, the pop corn texture still shows. I think if they were not going to paint the closets, they should have covered it properly. Although some things were left in less than good condition, for the most part, everything was done beautifully, we didn't go over my budget, but we also took short cuts on some things that were agreed, mostly because I felt they took a little longer than I'd hoped, and by the end of it all, I was just ready for them to be done, so I could get back to my life. Overall, I'm satisfied with the job that was done, for the budget.

Dennis did a great job repairing our 25 year old pool deck. He upgraded our drains, repaired the concrete slab around the pool skimmer, repaired failing stucco on walls and planters. Dennis and his workers were courteous and when finished removed all equipment and debris and the yard looked immaculate. Kept us updated daily on status of job. Would definitely hire again!

Matt and his team did an outstanding job. They arrived on time and ready and prepared to work. The project was completed in a timely manner as promised and he ensured that I was satisfied as the project progressed. The structural platform of my balcony was corrected to a level that the original builder neglected due to deficient design and material. During the construction phase, the dust and debris was held to a minimal and caution was use to ensured that no collateral damage would be experience to adjoining structure and property. The finish was appropriate and complemented the overall design. They were professional, courteous and unassuming. The job site was left clean and well policed. I would not hesitate to call on the The Matt Dorman Companies again and would recommend them to friends and family for the many services that they provide. Thanks guys!

I could not be more pleased with Devon. My front concrete steps had sunken and settled at a slope and were so small you had to step down to open the door. Devon built an 8x16' deck over the steps. I have received so many complements on not only how fast they worked but at the beauty of the completed project. Proud to have supported a veteran owned business and have a beautiful deck! Thank you so much.

He came to suss out the job, gave me a fair quote, and the next day, he showed up, got the job done, and was simple and easy to get along with, very down to earth and easy going. Even covered some previous damage at no extra charge.
