I put my fiance in charge of planning the DJ for our wedding, and I'm SO glad he picked Wedding DJ+. Many of the recommendations friends him gave were no good, and I haven't liked the DJs at the recent weddings I have been to. I was afraid of ending up with a DJ that would be overly cheesy, or might put my guests to sleep. However, once we booked Wedding DJ+, my mind was completely at ease. During our reception, they helped to create the perfect energy. Douglas seemed to intuitively know what the crowd was feeling, and tailored his playlist accordingly. When people were starting to look bored for a moment, he knew the right songs to put on to get everyone amped up again. Another thing I loved was how easy they were to work with. They were really organized, professional, and receptive in helping us plan everything. They worked really well with our venue to make sure the introductions and announcements for certain dances, dinner, and cake were smooth transitions. They seemed really prepared. They also made sure to play all of the songs we requested beforehand, and he helped make our event awesome by getting a good feel for our musical taste. Everyone had an awesome time, and two of my engaged friends have already asked me for his contact information! I don't know what it is, but Wedding DJ+ has what it takes to make an event come alive.

I got married on the 20th of this month and I must say that it was the most wonderful experience of my life! Anybody who has planned a wedding before knows that certain things can be an absolute nightmare. From arranging the wedding dress, venue, catering, themes, flowers and music everything can get a bit too much! However, hiring Wedding DJ Plus made our lives SO much easier. From the offset, Douglas made my and my husband to feel at ease! He was clearly an expert in this field and had done this a million times. He answered all of our concerns and questions fully and also taught us a thing or two, which allowed us to consider certain things we may have initially overlooked. He was extremely helpful in the planning process also, due to his experience and even better during the reception. Our requests for the music were completely catered to and everybody complimented us on our choice of DJ! I would certainly recommend Wedding DJ Plus to anybody that is planning a wedding! Extremely fantastic service that both my husband and I were VERY happy with!

We found doug on Thumbtack and we set up a meeting with him about 3-4 months before our wedding. He was very professional and shot straight with us. He gave us suggestions throughout the process of us picking our music and setting up our venue. He kept in constant communication with us during the whole time even when it looked like weather was going to be an issue. During the day Doug and the photographer that we hired through his service showed up on early and got all set up and helped with anything else that we needed to get setup before the ceremony. There were a couple of hiccups with the power source/generator that I had borrowed from a friend, but Doug was completely professional and at no time did he get stressed or show any type of unprofessional-ism. He also handled any of the last minute curve balls that we through at him during the reception. His prices are extremely reasonable and he is willing to work with you on price. He also provides other services other than wedding DJ like photography and video-graphy services.
