My experience thus far has been very positive and rewarding. I have seen quantifiable changes in my dog's behavior, resulting in a considerably more peaceful living environment! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
I have a 3 year old Belgian Malinois (Dex) that has a great deal of energy but is very smart. I was having some obedience issues with him that I wanted to address in an official manner. I conducted a lot of research regarding dog trainers in the area. My goal was to find someone who possessed a great deal of expertise in training dogs, someone I could trust to get Dex on track with basic obedience and maybe teach him more advanced skills as well. My research led me to Off Leash K9. I read up on Willie Harrell, his vast experience with K9's and training, as well as the numerous positive reviews of his training programs. I contacted him and set Dex up for the two week in-house board and train program. Dex started April 1st with one of Mr. Harrell's trainers, Daniel Clark. I was updated via E-mail and videos during the course of his training as to his progress. I was very impressed with how quickly he advanced in his training. When his training period was complete, last Saturday, I met with Mr. Clark and he went over Dex's new skills, as well as the training collar, in detail. Mr. Clark told me Dex was very smart and learned all of the basic skills in a couple days so he worked with him on some more advanced skills for the remainder of the program. He asked me several times as we went along if I felt comfortable with, and understood, what he was telling me. He went above and beyond to ensure I understood the instruction, the proper use of the collar, and Dex's new capabilities. He was genuinely concerned with making sure I had everything down. Since Dex returned home, I've been working with him on his new skills to get him even more dialed in on some of the more advanced things he learned. Mr. Clark has checked up on us a few times already too since I got Dex back. I cannot express with enough emphasis how much the training program helped Dex, me, and my family. Prior to his training, Dex was always first to the door. He would do about 10 spins before I got there and would literally bash his face through the door on his way out and back in. Now he knows door manners...so he sits and waits until I give him the command before going out or coming in. He also knows sit, down, come, place, heel, touch, extended sit/down, come to heel and through. I'm so grateful to Off Leash K9, to Willie Harrell, and especially to Daniel Clark for training Dex and making him the accomplished and well-behaved dog he now is. I couldn't have done it without them. I highly recommend consideration of Off Leash K9 for your dog training needs. I certainly will look to them again in the future for any advanced training I wish to pursue with Dex. Thank you Off Leash K9!
Melissa is such an amazing trainer. She understands animals better than I've seen. ...and I grew up in a family with a AKC obedience/show GSD. So I knew what I wanted. We currently have an almost 2yr German shepherd who had social issues, obedience and manners issues. Melissa immediately detected what was wrong, what caused it and had results so quickly. She was able to get our shy, fear biting dog to play with dogs at the dog park in basically 1-trip! She's like hiring Ceasar Milan in Vegas! She taught our whole family how to work with our GSD AND our little Shih Tsu who has anxiety issues. Melissa and the kennels have SO much experience. She will develop a training schedule for your schedule and needs. I had been looking for a good dog trainer for 1.5yrs. I wanted AKC training. No "shock" collar training. Positive reinforcement and not just another person saying they can train a dog. We had gone to puppy classes at Pet Smart-save your money- if you want someone who KNOWS animals, Has a great reputation, Is knowledgable about AKC, showing, training, guard dog training..stop searching and call VonWeiss Kennels! Best dog/Animal trainer in Vegas area!!!! So glad we found her!
Denise Kramer is an excellent dog trainer. I hired Denise to work with my 2 terrier mixes. They needed help with rushing the front door, walking appropriately on leashes and basic manners. I was immediately impressed with Denise. Her techniques are effective and quickly address the specific needs of each dog. I have a physical disability and Denise was able to adapt her training to help me be successful with my dogs. I couldn't be happier! The positive results after only one session were impressive. If you are looking for a friendly, reliable, honest and affordable dog trainer, hire Denise.
We are in the beginning stages of dog training. Kylie is very kind with the dogs and is very professional. We have a long way to go with our training.
Love love this company! My Chokie is baby and I wouldn't just let anybody walk him. But I know he is in great hands with Toppaws. The care he gets with them is super, I will recommend them to friends and family. They are the best dog walkers and sitters out there
Trish has always been very dependable and does a great job for us. She feeds, walks, and even cleans up the dog run. My dogs love her and so will yours. I highly recommend her services.
The only thing better than being a dog at Cherie's place is being the owner of a dog who gets to stay at Cherie's place! I'm an overprotective doggy mom. I admit it. When I took a job working 12 hour days, I knew I'd have to board my baby. Boarding. Kennels. Ugh. Just those words made my stomach turn. I searched all over Vegas, and just by luck, Cherie was officially opening the week I started work! No kennels? All small dogs?? Overnight care??? Yes! I was nervous, so Cherie suggested a meet and greet. The first good sign was that she was firm about the drop off procedure. She asked me to text or call when I got there, then she would let me in. I like that she didn't want clients just strolling up to her door and sending all of the dogs into a barkstorm by ringing the bell. Smart move. Her back yard is double gated for security, even the pool is gated, and she uses a gated side door to transfer pups to/fro their owners. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how calm it was. The lights were soothingly low, the temperature was cool, and the dogs (I think there were nine that day!) were excited to see a new kid, but not one of them showed even the slightest hint of aggression. My dog hasn't been around many other dogs, so I was hesitant to throw him in the mix, but after a few tries at convincing me, Cherie just said, "relax, put him down. He's fine. Sheesh." So I did. And just like she said, he was fine! The visit went really well, so I dropped him off the next morning. Luckily, I'm working nearby, so Cherie agreed to let me visit him in the evening. That night, I fully expected my dog to come running to me, jump into my arms, and curl into a please-take-me-home ball. What I got was an "oh, hey, hi! I love you! Ok I'm gonna go play now!" Wagwagwag, back to his new friends. Ha! I was thrilled! Cherie has offered me to visit for several hours each night that she will have him. She took care of me and my dog! She let me lay on the floor and play with the pack, and she even shared her dinner with me! Plus, she knew that my dog is a finicky eater, so she shared her supply of pricey fresh dog food packets with my pup! Cherie is very honest, and though the vibe of the house is relaxed, she runs a tight ship. If she sees something that might help your dog acclamate to her home, she's gonna say it. In fact, she speaks her mind on any dog related issue, and I respect that. She just wants the dogs to do their dog thing and be happy. There are lots of ways she could make a lot more money. She rescues and cares for dogs because it's in her soul. Oh, and did I mention that she got my dog to swim for the first time ever? Holy smokes. Go drop your dog off. You'll be doing him/her a favor!
She watched my dog for a whole weekend. Was really good with my dog olive. Had no problems followed all my instructions. Had no problem contacting for updates. She is great with dogs.
Not at all what I expected. We expected Anniina to train our dog, she did not. She trained us. Very little time was spent with Keechie, he wasn't the problem, we were and Anniina helped us realize that he was just a scared little dog and he was acting exactly the way we let him act. I found Anniina respectful, honest, knowledgeable, and would recommend her to my friends. Dennis Erickson
Stacy is amazing with training your dog! He has trained several of my clients dogs in the past 4 months and each & every one of them "raved" to me about how satisfied they were. Linda, owner of Fluffy Puppy Pet Salon, Lake Worth, Fl
I don't usually write reviews, but for this I must. I actually found SRK9 in my own neighborhood. I have two Pitbulls who were bad leash pullers and would bark at other dogs. Both were rescued and had no prior training. I had met Kristina with her dog at a nearby park in the area and asked her who had trained him so well. When I found out it was her who trained him and she had a business doing training, and she even specialized in working with Bully breeds I jumped right into getting them started at week. I did the 12 week program and am stunned at how great she was with my girls. They know all the basics and heel on leash, and ignore other dogs now. My dogs loved to get in the car and go see her. It made me feel great having a nice trainer my dogs enjoyed being with. Worth every dollar. Thank you Kristina and Diesel! Destiny , Leia, and Lucy
I took both my dogs to Sin City K9 to have them trained. Rich and his staff are amazing and made our lives so much easier now that we can take our dogs out in public and not have to worry about them misbehaving. I would recommend anyone looking for a great dog trainer who not only takes the time to train your dog, but also you as to problem solve and handle things when he is not around. I now get compliments from people about how well trained my dogs are when we are out on our walks.... Thank you so much Rich!!!!!
WOW, just WOW this guy is great with dogs, in our first meeting he got my dog focus on him. He begin explaining me how and why his methods works no matter what. He is a mix of positive and adverse training he call himself a balance trainer. Our first and second meeting was at my home from now on will be training in different parks around the city, he says dogs get used to different scenarios, people other dogs and different situations that build confidence both in dog and handler. He want me to begin doing IPO
He is a great dog trainer, he was on point and knew what he was doing. I would totally recommend Tyler to everyone
Dedicated, loving, knowledgeable, caring, and maybe part K-9. I couldn't recommend a better trainer for your dog not matter if the task is big or small. I have worked with her for over 4 years with many dogs and situations. She has personally trainer 2 of my dogs. One from a puppy and another we had behavioral issues with who is stubborn. She took on both tasks with full dedication and heart. Can not recommend enough!
Karen, is wonderful with my dogs and stays at my house when I'm out of town and I totally trust her with my boys that they will taken good care of
Aeryn was a caring, reliable, and energetic sitter for my 2 year old mini schnauzer. She fed, played, bathed, and cleaned up after him. I could trust Aeryn into my home without supervision and know that my dog and home were in good hands.
