Introduction: Electrolysis is the only answer for permanent hair removal. It is the only removal method recognized as permanent by the American Medical Association and the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
All other removal methods are temporary. Tweezing, waxing and threading only rip the hair out and are replaced by another. Shaving and depilatories remove the hair at the surface of the skin level, but the hair continues to march on out.
