Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Each student, whether they are 4 years old or 64 years old, is an individual. I listen to the goals and desires of each person and come up with a course of learning that will achieve those wants. I want to ensure that the student's experience with me is one that will foster a lifelong love of making music. All students are given fundamental skills needed to play an instrument. Once the student achieves some basic command and control over the instrument, we start adding in personal preferences. I love working with beginners to introduce them to something totally new, help them overcome frustrations, and have fun making music. Helping students to achieve a life long love of music is my utmost goal! Please note that even though I have quoted an individual lesson price, I do charge MONTHLY. Please check my website or give me a call for further details. I live in Desert Shores and am easily accessible to all areas of Summerlin and Northwest Las Vegas. I offer a free trial lesson to all interested students.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The basic price listed is for an hour lesson. However, most students take only a half hour lesson. Since it can be difficult to remember all the different sites where I may have a listing, rates are subject to change and may not be current at the time you are visiting this particular site. Please view my website or contact me for current rate information.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Music/Business DePauw University 1986 Master of Music Performance University of North Carolina at Greensboro 1988 "G" Teaching Certification 1991

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is the relationship between student and teacher. I would encourage anyone to take a trial lesson from 2 - 4 teachers. You, or your child, need to feel comfortable with the person with whom you will be working. Ask questions about their teaching style, expectations, goals, etc. Likewise, communicate with the teacher as to what you want out of this experience.
