I am a newly empty nester who also moved all the way across the country at the same time. I was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I had AND I needed help decorating my new home for just the two of us (and my little dog, who loved Ginger immediately). Ginger made me feel at ease the moment I met her. She took the time to fully understand me and my needs by asking the right questions and listening closely and patiently to my responses, even taking notes at times. She gave clear and easy to follow instructions and worked by my side the entire time. After the first day with Ginger, I felt I could really use more help from her and decided to purchase her 20 hours package. On a few occasions, I was called away to deal with other tasks, like working with the cable man, and Ginger kept working by organizing or sorting without me. When I returned, she would show me what she did and how it followed the process she put in place. She NEVER threw anything away or donated anything without my permission. Throughout the organization process, Ginger would ask me how I felt about what we've done so far or how I felt about the items we were putting away. I never felt pressured to throw away or donate anything even though we threw away several garbage bags and boxes full of items, and Ginger drove away with several boxes of donated items in her car to take to the charity of my choice. Ginger also took the time to explain her vision for each room or area and offered suggestions on alternate decorating options. She researched questions and always followed up. She shared pictures on her phone to help me see what she was talking about. She even went shopping with me, so I could make sure I purchased the bins that were right for me and our organization projects. Without her there, I would have been so lost and overwhelmed. Now, I have a kitchen that is set up beautifully, a master bathroom that is organized and functional, a huge start to my sewing and crafts area, and she even helped me with my big mess of a jewelry box. My husband is very happy with how the house is progressing as well and took advantage of Ginger's advice in his projects (such as organizing the garage, arranging the office space and placement of pictures) along the way as well! Thanks to Ginger, I feel empowered with the tools, education and her suggestions to continue to organize and decorate my house in a way that I will love. I will definitely call on her expertise again in the future should I need help incorporating newly acquired estate furniture or if I get stumped. Thank you Ginger!
I really liked Pamela professionalism and willingness to work with me and my family whom also is working with a nonprofit . She made detailed suggestions and even gave us future ideas for other projects in the future. She was always on time and actually did not stop until work was completed. She also was very cost effective . I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.
I had a death in the family and Moms On The Go was my blessing during this difficult time of our lives. We are in the Ohio and my mother's home was in Dallas. I facetimed with the owners of the company and I highly advise calling them for anything. They have contacts in every industry and completely sold everything in my Mother's home within a weekend using the internet and other avenues. The house sat for four months without anyone tending to the home. Every candlestick and button was left where my mother left it. Moms On The Go took care of everything in 5 days. They provided multiple services, donated items to local non profit charities, pressure washed all the brick to where the home looked NEW, cleaned all the windows in this three story home in the Highland area, did a fresh coat of paint in the grand room, did the overhaul cleaning, boxed everything into a POD and it shipped out to me within 6 days, switched out a few electrical sockets and they provided me with a punch list of everything that was wrong or can go wrong while the house was going up for sale. This handy tool saved us thousands and they found many water leaks under the sinks and could have potentially ruined cabinets, walls etc I hired MOMS August 4, 2017 and had a cash offer by Labor Day. I have a busy family that is able to undo any attempt I make towards organization. I think my house is clean once a day as the kids shift their things all over my house. My favorite tip that Liz inspired our family to think about doing is “putting the house to bed” things get put away in the common living spaces as a group effort before the kids go to bed to read stories and brush their teeth. She is very kind and amazing to work with. She inspired me to give every item a home that’s stable. My sheets get jumbled in the cupboard and kids per their bed at night. I get mixed up trying to find the right size sheet for a full, twin or queen since my kids each have a different size bed. The basket system contains and the label helps when I have company that needs to update their bedding.
Michelle and her team of ladies thoroughly cleaned our home, top to bottom before our family moved in. We needed to move quickly so it was necessary to hire help. I hired One Organized Mama to help my mother pack up her apartment after my father passed away, as both my sister and I live out of state. When I first contacted the company through Thumbtack, the owner, Janel, responded promptly and with such compassion that I immediately felt my mother would be in good hands. When my mother met with Janel for the consultation, she told me how nice and professional she was. The two-person team that actually did the packing was kind, patient, and efficient. They even took things out to the trash for my mother and took other items my mother wished to donate to Goodwill. Everyone from One Organized Mama was a tremendous help, making what could've been a traumatic, stressful ordeal into a smooth, stress-free situation. I hired Kirsten to organize the closets in my apartment. She's amazing. I tend to get overwhelmed with any form of organization (I'm scatter brained. Lol.) She did a great job and was able to get things organized in a manner that allows me to easily keep up with the organization. She's so personable and trustworthy, I'd definitely hire her again.
