FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It includes time with you and away from you. If we are doing a photo shoot, my pricing includes time to do the shoot, any variables (hotel room if needed, permits, etc), and time at home to edit the photos. A lot goes into a shoot, and by keeping everything factored into my rate, it eliminates surprises later.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before a photo shoot, I like to do a brief consultation to see what the expectations and desires are. I like people to be comfortable in front of my lens. I enjoy bringing out their best personality traits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am predominantly self taught in photography, but I have been mentored by a good friend of mine who is a professional portrait and boudoir photographer. She has been in the business for 5 years. Other professional photographers have also offered me their advice, which I appreciate and learn from. With regards to web development, I am self taught over the last 13 years. I have taught and mentored people successfully in this trade as well.
