Super honest guy..nice service he change the tile in my pool and now keep my pool clean.
Diego came to the house and quickly sorted out our problem. He gave me a very good rate for the work and a couple days later he and Jose were all over the roof . It is a steep cement tile roof but they moved about on it quickly and lightly. They had a huge portion of the tile off in no time and were putting the tar paper on within an hour. Additionally Diego recognized a indigenous problem with the roof that he solved to prevent future problems. I was very happy with Disalvo Services.
He repaired the leak on my porch and installed tile in one bedroom. Excellent work. Ready for the next project and will hire him again. Very professional.
I hired Scott to install my tile on kitchen wall... He started the same day and finished the next day... Excellent job and very professional!! I would recommend him to anyone!
What a great experience I had with this company, I truly needed help remodeling my bathroom and had no idea where to start, they were so knowlegible on everything from tile to fixtures and the price was right, next its the kitchen..Thank you Handy man Matters.
I accepted Gil's proposal based on the fact that he mentioned he had no overhead, like the bigger, more corporate companies, and therefore could be more fairly priced around my budget. I was very specific about everything I wanted to do, during our meeting, and I even wrote down an agreement with a list of everything I expected. I mentioned that I would like to physically go along with him to buy paints and baseboards, when it came time. We agreed on 30% upfront and 70% upon proper completion of all listed work. I'll list my experiences by positives and negatives: -Positives: Gil is quick to respond to messages and texts, he offered ideas as to how we could tackle the project. He's got a gentle soul, and he's a nice and respectful person. Our agreement in summary: Pop corn removal/texture application, includes planning, equipment, materials, area prep, roll/finish texture (Orange Peel) Every ceiling removed of pop corn. Wallpaper Removal/Glass removal. Includes everything plus setup and cleanup. Interior House Painting, scrape, sand, patch holes, defects, roll/spray or brush all walls, and all ceilings removed of wallpaper. Everything included, except cost of paint (which we were going to buy together) Knocking down 2 walls, to open up the rooms (Kitchen and livingroom/diningroom installing baseboards around the whole house. I gave him 30% as agreed. The first issue is, some wallpapers weren't removedas agreed, in the dining room, they were painted over instead, and when i realized this, I brought it up to Gil. He did rectify the issue, but I was sore at the fact that it wasn't done properly the first time around. The kitchen wall wasn't torn down and opened as I requested, and Gil mentioned that there was a load bearing issue. I feel others have done this successfully, and he should have been able to offer a solution, instead, we turned it into a window/bar situation, (which added costs, because now I had to hire someone else to make a bar, and i wasn't given a break on the price) The job took a lot longer than I was promised. I Hired gil on May 5th, and it wasn't completed until around the 19th. The master bedroom wasn't all done to satisfaction, because of some unforeseen circumstances, and all the mirrors which I'd mentioned to be disposed off, are still in my garage, and I believe Gil has left it up to me to dispose of them, which wasn't our agreement The spray painting was good enough, but every single door frame has paint unevenly bleeding into its edges. I don't feel proper prep time was dedicated to the edges and lines. I've had to hire someone else to come paint the frames, to clean them up. The wallpaper removal was very impressive, and I bet time consuming. He removed all the wallpaper as requested, the only issue I see with that is, the surface wasn't smoothed out properly, and some areas on the wall especially towards the floor, are a little rough. Altogether, commendable work. The baseboards weren't painted before installation, and I wasn't informed that this would make it difficult to paint, in the future. Having hired someone else to do the painting, it costs so much more. The installation was fantastic, everything fits, and everything is smooth, and properly caulked and ready for painting. I was never told when the paints were bought, yet, i had to reimburse for the purchases, and I still haven't found any of the cans. -The closets weren't prepped properly, and have uneven paint lines going to them, and at the corners and edges, the pop corn texture still shows. I think if they were not going to paint the closets, they should have covered it properly. Although some things were left in less than good condition, for the most part, everything was done beautifully, we didn't go over my budget, but we also took short cuts on some things that were agreed, mostly because I felt they took a little longer than I'd hoped, and by the end of it all, I was just ready for them to be done, so I could get back to my life. Overall, I'm satisfied with the job that was done, for the budget.
The quality of the work can't be beat. We love the new backsplash and the price was more fair. We already have plans on hiring Jim again.
Mike did a wonderful job with the tile for our kitchen counters. We plan to have Mike back for a few more small jobs.
I hired Mike to redo my kitchen and within 2 weeks, Mike and his team replaced all our cabinets, countertop, tile, and backsplash. From start to finish, Mike was easy to get in contact with and kept us up to date daily. His team arrived everyday on schedule. We are very pleased with the work that they completed and would recommend Signature Stone to anybody needing similar work.
I hired Steve to replace an existing bath tub with a new custom designed travertine shower. Right from the beginning I could tell Steve was a professional. He gave me a firm price quote on the spot and was very transparent about the process. He worked diligently to complete the project in the exact amount of time he estimated. From startup through completion, Steve was very conscientious about maintaining a neat and clean environment. The tile work and construction in general came out beautifully. I would use Steve again or recommend him to my friends without hesitation.
Repaired drywall, shower tile, towel holder; and installed transformer for outdoor lighting. Very pleased with his work and will use him again.
Dave was a true professional through the entire process. Very nice and trustworthy. He offered valuable input about our project and made impactful recommendations. Slightly more expensive than some of the others but well worth it. I highly recommend. We already have our next tile project planned!!
We could not be more pleased with the attention to detail and care taken in our floor project of installing ceramic tile in our main living area downstairs. What a beautiful job done! Always prompt, on time, pleasure to work with and dedicated to excellence. Grout will be finished tomorrow, but so happy with their work.
He is amazing . Anyone who wants great tile work with a friendly face . I highly recommend him. He already has more work lined up before he finished my house!
This is my first time working with Top Notch and I'm pleased with the quality of the final work (Drew installed tile backsplash and a counter top in my kitchen) this company gave me very reasonable price compare to others contractors on Thumbtack.
Cadell Tile and Stone did a beautiful job. They were on time and professional and I'm very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Cadall Tile and Stone.
I have officially found my go to tile guy!! My new bathroom floor looks beautiful. Thank you Tony for doing a great job and working around the few issues I had. I will definitely hire for future projects.
Ruben was very quick to respond to my plea for help asap. He also drove from Aliente all the way to Henderson for this job. He arrived on time, was very professional. He gave us a quote up front for services to fix the reverse osmosis that was leaking and cabinet that had damage from that leaking. He fixed the reverse osmosis that day and returned the next day to fix the cabinet. I think he could have done both the same day. But I was also in the middle of having tile installed and came back the next day to minimize interuptions to my tile install. My cabinet looks fantastic and the reverse osmosis is working great and not leaking. I would highly recommend Ruben.
We had some water damage and needed to replace an entire level of our home's flooiring. I discovered America MC after the restoration company and their choice of flooring company proved less than up to the task. I think I visited every flooring company in the Virginia. I even ordered some flooring from another company that was also recommended by the restoration and insurance folk. That was a disaster. American MC not only managed to get the flooring we needed and wanted when no one else either could or would, but they were so helpful on every possible option available, on maintenance and care, delivery, everything. They also had the most magnificent wall tile and were able to supply it in a timely fashion at a great price. If you need a go to place for tile, carpet, vinyl, whatever, these should be your go to people. THey are magnificent and I keep sending people to them.
