FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'll need to see your text in order to give you a reliable quote. I will quote a price for you based on your requirements and the characteristics of your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You'll send me the materials that you would like translated, and I will let you know the cost for you and the turnaround time to expect. Once you give me the go-ahead, I will start the translation. When I am finished, I will let you know that the translation is ready and you'll pay me. As soon as I receive your payment I will email your translation to you. We can go over any questions or comments you may have, and then I'll give you a final version. If you need a notarized translator's certificate, then let me know in advance and I will provide that, as long as I am in a location where I can access a notary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied German in high school and college, and I studied one year in Germany. I've been fluent in German since 1988. I lived in the former Soviet Union for four years and that is where I learned Russian. I've been fluent in Russian since 1999.
