    Tiny Living!
Still working on the design. Leslieanne has beautiful visions and listens. She is also budget minded. This has been a great experience. My apartment is small and she is mindful of chosing the right pieces.

I recently had the pleasure, and I do mean pleasure, of working with Leslie Lovell of Town Center Interior Design. By the time I had my introductory appointment with Leslie, I had already met and gotten estimates from two other decorators. I just didn’t click with either. Leslie, on the other hand, immediately put me at ease. She was undaunted by my limited budget and what I wanted to accomplish. At our initial meeting, she took time to get to know me and my tastes. She really listened to me. She understood that I wanted decor that looked coordinated but not like it was something out of a magazine. She left knowing my color preferences, my taste in furniture, and the necessity to keep certain heirloom pieces of furniture. Most importantly, she understood my budget and that I wished to work through a prioritized list of changes. Throughout the process, she followed the list and stuck to the budget. Ever aware of my budget constraints, Leslie worked tirelessly to find ways to save me money. She showed me where I could purchase an entertainment center that fit a tricky space and my budget. She came up with a way to alter a problem door that was going to be very expensive to replace. I ended up liking her solution so much that I had her do all the interior doors the same way, and for less cost than replacing the problem door! In the end, Leslie completed everything on my list and then some! From the outset, Leslie stayed actively involved in the decorating process. When work called for outside contractors, she brought in top-notch people to give me quotes. She came to the house to introduce contractors, go over their estimates, and inspect their finished jobs. Twice she had contractors touch up minute things I had not even noticed. She e-mailed me pictures of furniture she thought would be to my liking and met me at furniture stores to choose pieces that would blend with family heirlooms. One afternoon, she did not hesitate to kick off her shoes, climb up a ladder, and hang pictures. We talked, we laughed, we worked. I had mixed feelings as my decorating project was nearing an end. I loved my newly decorated home, but I knew I would miss working with Leslie. As it turns out, I believe I have a beautiful new house and a wonderful new friend.

Leslie is a top-notch interior designer. She communicates clearly and works with her client to make sure the client has input on the design concept. You can tell Leslie has been performing years of interior design services because her work is so beautiful and she makes her clients so happy with the remarkable results. I would not use anyone else to help me with my interior design work, Leslie is the best in Vegas.

Leslieann took time to offer different alternatives for the existing house I bought. I wanted a casual southwest look and she made the living room into a comfortable space from the wall color, carpeting, rug, sectional, tables, lamps, artwork-from soup to nuts! Leslieann is wonderful to work with, and gets the look you want.

Excellent service and prices on two houses she did for us in interior design and decorating. Rate her as 5 stars and I would recommend her whether a small job or a whole house.

Leslie helped me out in so many ways in decorating my home. She also listened to what I wanted and if she thought I would not be happy she would explain the reason behind it. The price was also kept within our budget and she never strayed from what she said to me. I have also seen different types of work that Leslie has done; from Italian decor to modern. All work that I have witnessed looks like something out of a high end magazine.

I wasn't sure how to deal with this space. It was kind of retro 80's looking and in really bad shape. I heard about Leslie through a friend and asked her to come over and take a look. We spent an hour or so talking about the look I wanted and choices started appearing left and right! In the end it was beautiful and right on budget. I really couldn't have been happier with the result.

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I host a talk radio show occasionally regarding Interior Design and am asked to Speak at Networking groups about the latest trends. I also write & blog for National Magazines. By attending all the "Wholesale to the DesignTrade" shows a few times a year, I am constantly educated on the latest styles and happenings in the industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was an Interior Designer and I grew up working with him in his Design Studio. After high school I went to a formal Design School and received a BS degree. I worked with him from thirteen years old on and had an edge in college because I apprenticed under an Interior Design Professor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly designing a couple of rooms at a time. I also do many renovations of kitchens and bathrooms as well as Interior Design for entire homes or condos.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Finished a few condos on the Las Vegas Strip and it was exciting. One client was quite daring and asked for very Mid- Century Modern furnishings. It was a lot of fun working with her and finding some fantastic pieces.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take the advice of your Interior Designer but make sure your personal taste is not compromised. It is your home and you will be living in it long after the Interior Designer has completed your project.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The best part of doing my job is that it doesn't feel like a job. I have always loved the Interior Design industry since a young child working in my Dad's Interior Design Studio. I began following him around to his clients homes and listening to him give advice. Then he taught me how to dress our retail store windows. The windows looked as though you were stepping into a magazine. He was famous for them.. He was a "Master" of design and became a professor early in his life.
