We couldn't be more thankful to have Davon for our pest/rodent control expert. He has shown great knowledge of the field he is in and portrayed amazing customer service . He has put in the extra time and effort in times of frustration while trying to capture our furry friend. I couldn't recommend his service and business more !

This company exceeded my expectations when comparing them to our previous pest control service. Parker was very nice and polite, explained things nicely and was very thorough with the spraying and actually set the sticky traps in the side of the garage for us. Our previous service never did this. Everything that should be sprayed was plus more. I was always concerned with the doors and windows and now I feel somewhat safer that they are covered. I can see why Swat bug killers has been in business as long as it has. I would recommend this company to everyone.

I honestly would love to have him back into our home! He not only did he find and took care of the root of my ant infestation but made friends with my territorial dog! My dog never responded so well to a stranger before. He was so patient and informative. He made sure I understood exactly what he was doing and why. I felt very comfortable. He even serviced inside the house as a courtesy. Aptive gets a thumbs up just for the wonderful people they hire and their customer service. Then they tack on the great price and efficiency. Seriously, where do you find these people?! Just wonderful.

First of all, their customer service is excellent. They take the time to explain what kind of treatment they will be using, how it works, and what to expect. They are patient and listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions. Their tech, Tommy, called me the day before my service to remind me that he would be coming the following day. Tommy was friendly and professional when he came to do my treatment. Best of all, their treatment works! I no longer have to worry about the creepy critters that were all over my property. Thanks Fischer's Pest Control!

We spend the extra time it takes, usually 20 minutes or more at each home we service. This makes Senske stand out from our competition, who generally only spend 5-10 minutes. In that time we are able to really address the core problems and fix them, not just Band-Aid them.

    About

We offer Standard and Organic services. We are a locally owned company and have experience in Residential, Commercial and Multi family settings. We provide complete pest control service for all general pests, termites, German Roaches, Bed Bugs, Scorpions, Bees, Rodents and Pigeons. We offer free inspections but do perform Termite inspections for a fee. Our success is because we care about our employees and provide them with the best products and equipment so they can focus on you and proactively prevent pests from ruining your day. About

Yeti Pest Control is a Las Vegas based pest control company that services the entire valley, including Henderson, Summerlin, Seven Hills, and other Las Vegas locations. We started Yeti Pest Control because we saw a hole in the market when it comes to the user experience to having your home serviced by a pest control company. The old way of business was a little daunting; you had to go out to sites like Google and look up service providers in the area, give them a call to find out their pricing and hope for the best because you have no idea what their experience is. Here at Yeti Pest Control, we do things way different. First off, we offer fixed pricing that you can see straight on our website. You have the ability to schedule/reschedule your appointments if something comes up, so you are are always in control of your schedule. We work with many pest control providers in the Valley, and we ask every customer about his/her experience with the technician that comes to his/her home. This way, we are only working with the best pest control companies Las Vegas has to offer.

TheLens was founded on the principle of taking care of the customers needs. We are not a Big Box pest control service company providing 10 minute quickie treatments. We complete a throughout inspection, and complete the service with the correct treatment the first time. Anyone can apply a pesticide but can anyone apply the RIGHT pesticide to get the results you are looking for?

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What do pest control companies do?

Pest control companies handle all aspects of bug, rodent and animal extermination or removal. Pest control professionals visit your home or office to identify the type of pest that is troubling you and offer various treatment plans — complete with clearly outlined costs. Once you and the pest control company have a signed agreement, the pro will begin treatment. Pest treatment can range from the use of spray pesticides and gel bait to live and/or kill traps. There are a wide range of types of pesticides, many of them nontoxic for humans and other small animals. This means you may be able to have your home treated for pests without harming nearby wildlife or your dog and cat. The pest control pro will carry out the treatment plan and, depending on the service agreement, provide follow-up such as emptying traps, inspecting access points, or reapplying pesticide spray if the pests return. Costs will vary based on the type of pest you are having removed and the extent of the infestation. The average national pest control price range is $80-$130. From a minor bedbug event to an entire home termite infestation, pest control companies have got you covered.

How much does it cost to treat a house for termites?

Termites are not only creepy-crawly, they can literally eat your house out from underneath you. Termites feed on damp and dry wood and can chomp through your house at an alarming rate. The national average pest control cost for termite extermination is $240-$400. Treatment costs can be higher for an extensive infestation. Here are some examples of average pest control costs for termites:

    • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: $3-$4 per linear foot.
      • For $75 per year, a company may offer a maintenance plan that provides inspection of the property and renewal of the warranty.
    • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: approximately $400 for a 2,000-square-foot home at $3-$5 per linear foot.
      • The price is higher for additional work such as foaming and drilling inside of concrete slabs.
    • Fumigation treatment of drywood termites: $1,200-$1,500 for a 30,000- to 35,000-cubic-foot home
      • Fumigation is measured in cubic feet because it fills the airspace of the home and infiltrates the wood that the termites may be colonizing. The cost of fumigation is affected by the number of levels in the home as well as the square footage.

How much does it cost to get rid of cockroaches?

Cockroaches are not only ugly, they are difficult to get rid of. Quick and resilient, they can be hard to get rid of without professional help once they have inhabited a house. Nationally, the average range for cockroach pest control cost is $80-$130. Extermination professionals typically provide a free estimate to determine the extent of the infestation. They’ll check for the main sources of the bugs, identify bug access and entry points into your home, and determine the best method for elimination. There are a variety of cockroach extermination tools including gel baits and traps, pesticide foggers, desiccants (which dry out the cockroaches), neurotoxins, and other pesticides. Pest control costs can also cover preventive measures like regular spraying and trap maintenance. Some regions of the country are much more prone to cockroach problems than others, so pest control costs may need to be part of your quarterly budget. Cockroaches love dark, humid, and warm areas and water sources, so place traps near your washer and dryer and under your sinks.

How much does it cost to remove a mouse?

If you have a mouse in your house you’re probably quickly researching pest control costs. Mice, although tiny, can transmit diseases and also get into your food and leave unsanitary droppings around your home. If you have seen one mouse in your house, it’s likely that more have taken up residence in your crawl space, attic or basement. The national average pest control cost is $150-$200. Costs can vary depending on whether you need to get rid of a population of living mice or just dispose of a dead mouse (or full traps), how extensive the mouse population is, and where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pest control cost for removing a mouse:

    • $150 for initial trap setup and inspection (and sealing of entry holes).
      • $50 for rodent removal service calls and emptying of traps. This visit can also include identifying and sealing entry points that were not sealed on the first visit.
    • Rodent extermination: $110-$350, depending on how heavy the rodent population is, whether the mouse infestation poses health risks, how many entrances exist and how many rodent bait stations are needed.

How much does it cost to get a pest inspection?

In general there is no cost for a pest inspection. Exterminators typically provide a free property or building inspection and then provide you with a written estimate outlining the necessary treatment and cost. The home visit allows the exterminator to assess the problem and let you know what your pest control cost will be if you contract with their services. You may need a termite inspection for real estate purposes. This will be a verified inspection showing that the house in question is termite-free (often done before a sale). The inspection may cost a flat rate, such as $125-$150, depending on house size.

It’s hard to predict pest control costs sight unseen due to the variety of factors that go into pest treatment. For example, a bedbug problem for one customer may be confined to one room and be easy to access and treat in one visit if the room is clear of clutter and the bedbugs have been caught early. In another home, a bedbug problem may also be confined to one room, but there’s a great deal of clutter, providing more hiding places for the bugs and requiring more spray and labor for the exterminator, as well as many pieces of large furniture in the room that need to sprayed. Depending on the maturity of the infestation, a bedbug problem may require multiple visits to entirely eliminate. This is why many companies provide a free inspection to determine pest control costs and provide you the most accurate quote possible.
