When I started working with Devan, I was about to give up on the idea of training. Prior trainers left me feeling unheard, frustrated and left with a lighter bank account than scale. Although I had been a gym rat for years, age plus shoulder surgery and hip degeneration limited my activity and strength. Increasing pain in my hip and shoulder was draining me of my motivation to attack these issues on my own. I needed someone who could help and who I could trust to get my strength and flexibility back without me reinjuring myself doing incorrect workout techniques. Ryan developed a personal workout program to restore my flexibility and range of motion plus improve my overall body balance, strength and flexibility. My ability to sustain cardio levels while developing muscle strength restored my activity levels and removed my hip and shoulder pain. Ryan's program focused on pre and post stretching which, in my past, I ignored. The stretching allowed my body to adjust to his strengthening program which consisted of unique exercises. These exercises were never repeated. Therefore, I never got bored with his workout. In the 2-a-week sessions every workout was unique. The program was motivational. I looked forward to the workout sessions. I also began reevaluating my eating habits and overall food selection and consumption. I was motivated to become more active and could apply the techniques used in the workout to everyday practice: squat techniques when lifting objects, execute proper stretching while playing golf, using core muscles properly to perform everyday tasks without injuring or straining my back or shoulder. I highly recommend Ryan's method to every person whether they are young and doing body building or older (I was 68 when I began working with Ryan) and have a motivation to get healthier and stronger again.

I started working out with Keith in the beginning of 2011. I had a child and still hadnt lost the weight I wanted. I had ALOT of toning up to do. I knew I didnt have the motivation to work out on my own so I decided to look into personal trainers. I googled personal trainers in my area and lots showed up! I eliminated people who didnt have a picture and I compared services and prices. Keith seemed the best so I emailed him. He came to my home and my apartments gym. He was extremely nice and helpful. We could laugh and joke around while still being productive. He was relentless about eating right and exercising. He would text me everyday to see how I was doing. I was always reminded of my cardio that needed to be done and different meal options I could choose. He even went grocery shopping with me to show me the things that I buy that are ok and some better alternatives for others. The time he spent doing that and texting me was on his own time. He wasnt doing that because he was getting paid it was just because he cared. I also found myfitnesspal extremely helpful. Its a website that allows you to track your food and calories along with your exercise. I was shocked to know that some days I wasnt eating enough calories! I didnt realize that could prevent weight loss. It was also extremely rewarding to see how much more you can eat because you worked out that day. Seeing how many calories your actually eating in one sitting if your just munching on snacks is very eye opening. I learned tips and tools that will last a life time. Mick takes his time to show you how to do things correctly, challenges you to be better every session, and always has a positive outlook. Our sessions are always tough and rewarding. I've been working with Mick for 30 days and within this short period of time I have had some amazing things happen. I've lost 9lbs (earlier than expected), overall body appearance has changed, increased endurance/cardio, learned how to fuel my body by eating correctly, and most importantly dropped 2 different blood pressure medications for high blood pressure. This system and Martin are incredible. I have been for 6 sessions as of today. My regular activities prior were Yoga, water aerobics, hiking, elliptical trainer. I really need the strength training component, but felt I didn't have time to add anything else. I really needed a well rounded program that increased my strength. I had a shoulder injury last year and it took me out of work for the first time in my life for 6 weeks. All due to loss of muscle strength to help support my shoulder while lifting, dragging luggage for my job. This program is 20 minutes/2 x week. I could tell a big difference in my strength at yoga class yesterday. Holding poses was actually easy, comfortable. I trained with Ken for 4 years and he was an amazing trainer, knowledgeable on physiology, always in a good mood and very attentive. We only stopped because I moved to a gym where only the gym's trainers could work with me. He always made the hour fun and different. He is "age appropriate" and never pushed me beyond my limit like a younger trainer might. He never took phone calls or chatted with other trainers like some do. I was in great shape with Ken, and if I could, I'd have him train me again. He's also a really nice guy and he enriched me with his friendship and sense of humor. This guy's a keeper!
I almost died. I wouldnt have had it any other way. I am a 33 yo male. Ive been training muay thai for over 15 years. I have play volleyball competitively (club level) for over 15 years. I run about 50 km a week. I needed a push in my regiment. Mainly I needed a change up and I needed a good kick in the butt. Cece came to the rescue. Im a fairly motivated individual and usually will go full throttle when I need to. Cece helped me exceed that level when I thought I had run out of gas. Cece understands how to push self motivated althlete like myself to get the most out of me while not getting me injured. We did a week long invidual boot camp to prepare me for an upcoming 3 day long volleyball tournament.. She incorporated a great balance of cardio, interval training, kettle bell, yoga, plyometric, core stability, and calisthenics. She is well versed in what seems like all exercise routines. What I was really impressed with was her ability to modify the training so it was more sport specific. She put a lot of work in individualizing the boot camp to suit my needs. She is also instructionally sound. I was able to follow all her simplified instructions to uphold safe technique and body mechanics when my mind was too fatigued to think anymore. I felt the week long of intense training with Cece had left me we a greater appreciation for my body and has increased my confidence in knowing that my body can still push through mental obstacles of fatigue safely. At first, I was apprehensive in looking for a personal trainer, outside a gym. Being 60 years old, I liked the idea she had her work outs at her home. Her garage was set up with the equipment. She was in great shape herself. She was nice, friendly, and easy to work with. She was very encouraging and very supportive. The work outs were hard and she kept challenging me in each workout, as well as the cardio I did at home. I lost weight, inches, gained muscles and strength, which is what I desired. Another side benefit from the workouts was a better night sleep and more energy. I would highly recommend her for your personal trainer.
Aida is a wonderful and talented professional. I came to Aida 310 pounds and hurting all the time. She coached me through basic workout techniques, stretching, and made me feel good about myself the entire time. I lost 35 pounds quickly. She knew all the muscles and major nerves. She accommodated my arthritic hip and lower back during flare ups. I would recommend Aida to anyone who wants a talented, knowledgeable, supportive trainer. I have been a professional and enthusiastic athlete for most of my 70 years. I have been coached up and trained by the best in the business. No one has out performed Marc. I trained with Marc for almost two years and made a complete comeback from an ankle fusion and a total hip replacement. My functional mobility and stability and overall health and fitness has never been better. Marc's attention to detail, his preparation, and daily, weekly, and monthly progressions have been astonishing. My core is solid. I can move effortlessly through a weighted Turkish getup, my dead lift and plank have never been as smooth and strong, and my K-Bell swings even impress me. MATT ROCKS!!! I am currently an artist with Cirque du Soleil out on recovery from foot surgery. Because I cannot perform each night like usual, I need a way to keep my athletic physique in shape without doing cardio on a machine because I am unable to. I hired Bonnie as a personal trainer .. at first I was just wanting to cut up I was in pretty good shape already but was needing some help in areas . After three months of training with Bonnie we started kicking around the idea of maybe trying to do a show .So we picked out a date and a show and the work began . Bonnie pushed me to levels I've never been to before . After twelve weeks of hard core exercise cardio and a stricked diet I walked on stage at the legends classic and took second my first show ! The following year she trained me I walked on stage at took first !!! I've been at the Dojang a few times and trained with Jose Garcia for several months outside of the Dojang. He is very passionate, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. I have high and deep respect for him and he teaches Muay Thai kickboxing for those who really wants to learn it! He will always encourages you to raise your bar and to do the best you can!!! He's your man to teach it to you!
Joining BUFFCamp helped me jump start my fitness journey! Not only did he tailor a workout regimen specific to my needs and wants, he motivated me and readjusted my plan along the way as needed. He was very knowledgeable in every area. I hate cardio and the thing I loved most about my plan was I didn’t have to spend long periods of time on a treadmill to lose weight. We focused on weight training and eating healthy and the weight just dropped off so quickly.
Cesar worked with me over several weeks on some basic cardio and strength training — I needed to build back my endurance after I was sick for a month last spring. He customized each workout to suit my goals and health needs. I've watched him work with other athletes and he's incredibly knowledgeable for all ages and skill levels.

Dr. John Vigil trained me for my first INBA figure competition in 2013. As an endurance athlete (marathon and triathlon), a figure competition was a bucket list goal of mine. I knew that training for it would be quite different from all the cardio that I was used to, but Dr. John was an excellent coach. 16 weeks of contest prep included a diet and training program so that all I had do to was follow his directions. I'm not saying that it was easy by any means, but I didn't have to think about anything other than following the diet, do the workouts, and watch my body transform. John was always available if I needed support or had questions and he kept track of my progress diligently. If you're looking to do a show or just get into better physical shape, I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. John. Not only does he have the chiropractic background and expertise, he also has experience with training for and competing in bodybuilding competitions himself. I ended up winning two trophies at that INBA competition in the Masters figure division and I owe that success to the StretchDoc.
Jill is amazing to work with! I did strength training classes at a gym, cardio/circut classes at a small studio, and personal training with Jill. She has impecccable knowledge of form and function and is always making sure you are doing things right and safe while pushing you to work hard and get great results. She not only focuses on exercise, but incorporates the importance of good, clean, and proper nutrition. She has an excellent knowledge base, follows up on how you are doing, and is easily accessible. I had great experience with Elena! Not only she is National judge of gymnastics she also has amazing energy to share. She is extremely creative. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. Every session i had with her made me want to come back again. Since working with Elena i noticed positive changes in my body and mind. Which was the goal i was looking for, for a long time. During our work out session i experienced sequences of cardio, strength, endurance and flexibility. I have even tried climbing a rope. She also introduced me to energy healing.
