FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure is very simple. I charge $55 per hour, whether I'm digging a ditch, picking up dog poop, or figuring out rocket science. Legally, I'm not allowed to give a contract quote. I can, however, tell you approximately how many hours a project will take and you can do the math. You buy the material or I'll buy it and you can reimburse me. I don't mark up material, you pay what I pay.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend seminars, subscribe to numerous trade magazines online, and I'm constantly looking for new and more efficient ways to perform my tasks.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The recession of 2008 dried up employment opportunities, so I started Top Notch to keep paying the bills. It's turned out to be the best thing I could have done.
