Got a call at 11:55am that the tech was 40-45 minutes away, I waited and called back at 1:45pm to find out what the heck was going on. Placed on hold for a few minutes and was told he was 10 minutes out. Appoint time was at 1:00pm and Mercedes told me when I made the appointment we can have him do anything we can during the time frame. Not sure what "If there's any delay, it's you we pay!" means because I felt my mother was taken advantage of. Three hours and $538 to replace two toilets? The tech walked into the garage and let out a groan because I parked in the driveway, he initially didn't see me but when he did he apologized and said something about having to carry the old toilets to the van. I gladly moved my truck and motorcycle to accommodate him. Later she received a quote for additional work that he has to come back to do and one of the items is to "demo and plumb" a garbage disposal - get this for $479. I know there is less than $15 in parts because I just had this very same thing done, for a lot less.
It's my mothers choice on what she wants to do but I'll be looking for an alternative solution for her.

They actually sent Tom, not Greg. There's an inspection of all bathroom and kitchen shut-off valves included in the service call. Tom was prompt, courteous and efficient. After some discussion, we reached an agreement on price. Job well done.
