Shane was sensational in every respect; cooperative effort in selecting the menu; arranging the staging for the meals at our home and; most importantly, cooking and serving two complete meals for over 169 guests. Antony C. Evans Rubicon Bay Lake Tahoe, California

Michelle did a fabulous job cooking for my group of ~13 for my birthday dinner in Tahoe. She catered the menu to exactly what I wanted (some vegan dishes, fresh fish, all using local ingredients). My non-vegan friends were super impressed! The quality was great. Michelle even brought a helper to the dinner to serve everyone drinks and help serve/cleanup. I highly recommend Michelle and her team!!

I have experienced the cooking skills of Larry Martin many times. He is creative and innovative. Each dish that I have tried has been crafted with warmth, integrity and his own unique flare. Larry knows food. He is professional, trustworthy and kind. I tend to eat more vegetarian and Larry made these scrumptious sweet potatoes that blew my mind! This man can cook anything! Your palate will be extremely pleased and your taste buds will thank you! I highly recommend Larry Martin as a Chef.

I hired Coby to cook a Farm to Table Christmas Party Dinner for 30 people at my house on Dec. 12, 2014. The food was organic, and delicious and my guests raved about the entire experience. I was very pleased with the pre-party planning, the coordination and delivery of the contracted services. Everything was very professional as well as wholesome. Coby totally delivered.

This woodfired oven is a fantastic addition to the food truck scene, but Fire on the Mountain is so much more! Zeb is a master of the grill as well... seasoning is always spot on, bringing out the best in any cut of meat, and his dad tempts with culinary delights ranging from a fresh, gorgeous tuna tartare to nostalgic classics like rumaki. These guys are super easy to work with and can execute anything you can imagine!

Working with Danny was such a joy, his food is delicious, and I highly recommend him! Danny prepared a 5-course Italian/Californian dinner for our family reunion (18 people). He designed the menu, but was open to my (very few) modifications and had no problem dealing with our dietary restrictions. In the end, we had a largely vegan meal that even our meat eaters loved! On the evening of the dinner, he arrived promptly at our rental house and we all loved his energy and attitude in the kitchen. He was super easy to work throughout the whole process and we will absolutely hire him again if we're ever back in the Tahoe area.

Kris and team cooked a four course meal for my wife's surprise birthday party (of size 7), and did a fantastic job. He was very accommodating with the various dietary restrictions we had, and was also flexible as I was making changes on the fly. And most importantly, the dishes was amazing. Chef Kris cooked up a wonderful Autumn based menu including a Michigan salad, butternut squash soup (our fav!), and a killer filet. I highly recommend Chef Kris and his team as they were highly professional, paid close attention to detail, and cooked a savory menu.

I love for my work to be personal. There is nothing worse than a forced or uncomfortable smile in a portrait, so I like to get to know my clients and their styles or tastes to better create a photograph perfect for them.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
