The hourly rate covers not only the actual duration of the class, but also encompasses additional aspects such as curriculum setup and adjustments, meticulous material preparations, and extensive research on relevant tutoring resources. This comprehensive approach guarantees that each session is carefully crafted and tailored to meet the individual needs of my students. In order to maintain the utmost quality and provide undivided attention to each student, I limit the number of students. By doing so, I can focus on each student's progress and assist them in enhancing their language skills most effectively. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, my process begins with getting to know them on a personal level. I believe that understanding each individual's goals, preferences, and learning style is crucial in creating a customized study plan. Through an initial consultation, I will ask questions to gain insights into their language learning background, interests, and specific objectives. This allows me to tailor the curriculum and teaching methods to their unique needs, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. Additionally, during this process, I encourage open communication and address any questions or concerns the customer may have. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring a wealth of education and training to my role as a Korean language tutor. Prior to offering Korean classes for English speakers, I worked as an English teacher in Korea and Vietnam. This experience provided me with valuable insights into language acquisition and effective teaching methodologies. Having been in the position of learning a new language from scratch myself, I understand the challenges and can empathize with my students. This firsthand experience has enabled me to develop strategies and techniques that have proven to be successful in my own language learning journey.
