- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did extensive research into businesses I would like to open. I wanted something where I could meet new people every day, make a difference in the environment, and do physical work. I love my decision to start this business and have fun every day.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Occasionally someone just wants to empty their attic or basement - but often there is a reason. Many of our clients are going through life changes. Moving, loss of a loved one, downsizing, are common. My staff tries to accommodate folks in these special circumstances and stay sensitive to the situation.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently a real estate agent called on a Wednesday evening to say he had a closing the next day and an unscrupulous competitor did not complete cleaning out the junk from the property. We were there first thing the following morning with two empty trucks and a team of professionals. The house was empty and swept by my team before 10:30 am when the buyers were doing their walk-through. We saved the closing.
