Introduction: I am now only accepting smaller projects which require my personal attention. Still covering the basic home repairs and "Honey - do - lists". More of the artistic projects are desired to keep my new studio busy. I'm preparing for new art classes to open this year. Including "party" type art lessons. Thumbtack rated as top service provider for the second year running! 2015 and 2016 This is a great honor. What it means is people can trust in their projects being done in a safe an courteous manner. This was the first time I was exposed to Thumbtack - and I have to say my experience was fantastic. I not only got 2 quotes, but they were submitted within an hour or so of the initial request. I chose Erik to work with because of how his website explained how he approaches certain projects, as well as the fact that he was half the cost of the other quote. He was extremely timely in his response to set up an appointment, and he was on time and prepared to do the job. He suggested a small alteration to the project to make a better final result, and he left the work site as clean as when he arrived. There were other small things going on in the same area and he offered to include another small project if I wanted him to. More than satisfied, I would recommend him for any project that you'd like to be done in a timely and frugal manner.

We had pine floors put in two rooms of our house and thought that we could stain and poly them on our own. My husband started in the smaller of the two rooms and really messed things up! I decided to try to find a professional and have them fix the mistake and complete the staining and poly in both rooms. I stumbled across thumbtack and received a few estimates very quickly. We are so happy that we went with Erik. After speaking with him we decided to hire him. He saved our floors! He was here when he said he would be and finished on time! His rates were very reasonable and we feel that he did an excellent job. He is a great guy, does wonderful work and we will definitely think of him the next time we have a project that needs to be done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text your information to my phone so that I can use GPS to find out how far away I am to schedule appointments. I can give fairly close estimates over the phone on most projects. I pick up materials on the way and make repairs in as short a time as possible. Customers can pay in many ways even credit cards
