Emma did my graduation make up couple years ago and I couldn't be more happier about it. It is not easy to trust anyone for a important day like that, but she did amazing job with it! Not only she made my make up she also gave me some advise for every day life, like shades I could use and which are good quality products etc.. Se was on time, easy to talk with, well mannered and she made it a fun moment to get ready for my special day! Emma is a very talented make-up artist. I contracted her to take care of a bridal party of five, where they all had different skin tones and everyone was very thrilled with the results. One of the ladies had very sensitive skin and she was resourceful with finding alternatives that would not affect her skin. She was great with answering any questions that I had prior to contracting her and open to applying make-up accordingly to each person's individual style and was flexible working with the hairstylist that I contracted as well. The day of, Emma arrived on time and finished all of the ladies without delay. Not only is she knowledgeable but she is really pleasant to work with. Everyone felt at ease working with her. I would without hesitation recommend Emma as a make-up artist.

Emma was absolutely fantastic! She was on time, professional, very sweet, and best of all she created the look that I wanted for my wedding in NYC. She communicated with me ahead of time to go over ideas, and she totally delivered. She even did my daughter's hair too at the last minute! Highly recommend Emma.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated 2010 from International Makeup Center in Helsinki, Finland, where I studied beauty and stage makeup. After I did an internship with fashion makeup artist Jenny Jansson, who I did magazine covers, editorials and fashion campaigns with. She taught me into makeup artistry in photographs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked mainly for weddings and other events. I have held many makeup-lessons teaching about applying makeup and suitable products to choose. I have also had the joy to work with fashion designers on their show rooms, photo shoots and on fashion shows. While living in Geneva, Switzerland I was a part of makeup and wig team in Grand Thèâtre de Genève for Machbeth Opera. Please see my full resume on my website! :)
