We adopted a beautiful German Shepherd dog who had survived the Ca. wild fires of 2019, but was so traumatized he didn’t know how to love or play. He was petrified to be left alone and would chew the metal crates, beds, and the wood door jams. He did not even know what playtime was. We had no idea what to do so we called Megan.
Within 4weeks this crazy anxious dog started to accept love and petting.
Megan trained us as much or more then the dog. She was always on time and helped us with all our questions and concerns.
She has transformed a fearful rescue dog into a member of the family.

I highly recommend Paws Over Matter Dog training!! I have known Megan for a while and she is extremely knowledgeable in all things dog! She taught Cooper how to "lay down" in what felt like 10 minutes! More importantly, she taught us how to teach him that and so much more! Cooper was pulling so much on walks and now sticks right by our side all thanks to her teachings! She encourages positive reinforcement always! She is so supportive and an absolute delight to work with. She is very safe and takes all necessary precautions needed during these times as well. I recommend her to anyone looking for a personalized one on one dog training experience!
