I listen to my clients, each look is unique and fits their specific tastes and life style. Being able to be creative and not being confined to "whats out there". If I can't find a sofa that fits your space, I will draw one just for you. I love that I can create something and see it being built and installed in your home.

My husband and I bought a house in East Meadow about 2 years ago. We came across Gary's ad in the local paper and contacted him for help decorating our home. From the start, Gary was extremely professional. He knew we wanted to stick to our budget and did not push us to stray from it. Initially, he helped us choose paint colors for each of our rooms, which we absolutely love! He chose the perfect country colors for our home. We then updated the bathroom on the first floor and made a powder room in the basement, all with his help. He didn't spare a detail. From the tiles, to the fixtures, to the vanities, he totally understood the style we were going for. His contractors were also very professional and neat, which was very important to us. Next, we used Gary and his team to finish the rest of the basement including Sheetrock, high hats, carpeting, window treatments, etc. We couldn't be happier with the way it came out. Gary then helped us choose furniture for our office, bedrooms, basement den area, dining room and living room. Once again, we are thrilled with his choices. Finally, we had Gary help us revamp our kitchen. We kept the cabinets, but refinished them. We also bought all new appliances and fixtures with Gary's guidance. He also chose the perfect backsplash, countertops and flooring to match! I would highly recommend using Gary for any of your designing needs. He is extremely personable and professional. He just "gets" your style and helps you make the right choices to fit it.

After purchasing my new home I knew I was going to need help from top to bottom. I spoke to a few different decorators and then I was lucky enough to meet Gary and from the start I knew it was going to be a great fit. From the start he had great ideas and I could automatically tell he loved his work. He picked paint colors for me that work so well in my home. He took me to various different places for light fixtures, bedding, furtinure and many miscellaneous wall hangings and different home necessities. Purchasing new home is extremely stressful in and of itself. Gary doing the decorating for me and his immense professionalism made my life SO much easier and enjoyable. I couldn't ask for a better job. My home is so beautiful and so well done. I definitely will be working with him again. JOB WELL DONE. THANK YOU.

I was impressed with Gary right from the start . I had recently met with two other highly recommend designers , but they were not accommodating , and easy to work with. I decided to hire Gary based on his experience , his extremely pleasant , calm , and personable attitude , and he's very easy to work with . We did have some mistakes made , when my custom drapes were installed , I had realized they were a few inches too short . I called Gary Schoenbach , he came over first thing in the morning the next day , and had my drapes taken down and fixed , at no charge !! Simply because he understood the frustration I was having with my custom drapes being installed , taken down , and reinstalled numerous times . I was very , very pleased with him and the end result I will definitely be using Gary again for any of my future design needs . Gloria B

I was referred to Gary Marc Designs by a friend and was very impressed with the work Gary did with my bedroom. He was able to pick the right furniture, wall colors and window curtains. Gary was definitely on time during our consultation and went out of his way taking me to different areas looking for exactly what I wanted. Overall I'm very pleased with the result he did to my bedroom.

Gary was a complete pleasure to work with. He had lots of great ideas, and he was able to offer me his input, while still keeping my original ideas intact. My custom built furniture fits my room perfectly. My room now feels like a posh hotel, but it was all very affordable. We were able to utilize some of my existing pieces in the new décor, and the effect is wonderful. Gary is very talented and professional. I have had so many compliments on my redesigned room. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend seminars and meetings offered to people in the trade at local fabric houses. I like to see the latest trends in colors and patterns. It's important to stay up to date on those things.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I can remember I have always loved design. I would go into a restaurant or hotel and re-design the space in my head.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything from a simple paint consultation to working with the client and their architect to design a home that is specifically built with them in mind. The uncommon is what I like best, no two jobs are the same, no two clients are the same.
