What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a member and an officer of the National, State and Local homebuilders Associations I am always participating in the continuing education programs that are offered. I am also in the process of completing my Real Estate license.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I followed my father into the contracting business. At first on a small scale as a one person operation. Now we complete almost a million dollars worth of business a year and we are still growing
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our core business has always been interior finishes in new homes and light commercial which includes insulation, gypsum board installation, gypsum board finishing, plastering and painting, We also complete exterior painting, stucco and Dryvit applications. We remodel/build out basements into premium living space. We recently expanded our business to the remodeling field, We have completed 6 renovations of existing homes in the last 2 years. These renovations were existing derelict properties which 3 were Victorian and Queen Anne style homes and were a total gut and remodel from plumbing and electric to all new walls, ceilings, floors, kitchen and bathrooms to name a few.
