Julia is very a friendly and approachable teacher who knows how to bring the Spanish language to life. My Spanish skills have improved tremendously since working with Julia, and I always look forward to and enjoy our meetings. Highly recommended!

Julia helped my son with his 3rd year Spanish. She came to my home where my son felt more comfortable. She immediately honed in on what he lacked and worked with him to build strong skills. Julie would put in the extra time to help my son better understand his conjugations, sentence structure, and even bought him a mini Spanish verb book to use for study.Julia is definitely passionate about teaching Spanish and helping kids understand the language. She did an awesome job with my son! She even called my son's Spanish teach to get a better understanding of what was being taught in the classroom! She went above and beyond what any tutor had ever done. I would recommend her in an instant.

Julia was an amazing tutor for my four children. She taught them Spanish through the immersion method. Since we started when they were so young, they really learned quickly and she made the learning experience so much fun for them! They really looked forward to their Spanish sessions with her. She was always prompt and reliable and I would highly recommend her.

I assess the needs/desires and create a specific program of learning which is age/level appropriate. I always bring in additional real-life materials to make sessions more meaningful and enjoyable.

Yes, I am a member of ACTFL, The American Council of Teachers of Foreign Language, I subscribe to professional journals, and attend professional conferences. Graduated Cum Laude from WCSU, where I studied Education/Spanish. Recipient of Thumbtack Reward "Best Spanish Teacher" 2 years running.
