FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quite simply, the more detail the longer it will take, equaling a higher cost. For example: If you asked me to create something with a great amount of detail it will surely cost more. Size is also an issue. The bigger the space, the higher the cost as well. Digital is cheaper than physical. When you get into hard mediums things just as paint and tools are a concern. If a customer came to me with a premade idea or design and just wanted me to 'shine it up' then it would be cheaper than creating my own idea and making it from scratch. I try to price by the job, not by the hour. The majority of customers do not understand why a piece could take so long but are always amazed with the results.
