- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out first what the customers end goals are, any injuries, etc, why they wanted to get into dance to begin with. I like to share music and videos and give history behind music and dance for a well rounded experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Training & Experience Vickie Sheer Dance Academy- 9 years: Training in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe Broadway Dance Center- Ongoing: Training in Latin Jazz, Jazz, Jazz Funk Chevere Dance Company (Cuba)- ongoing: Training in Cuban style salsa, son, folkloric dance, Cuban contemporary, Timba Razz M Tazz Dance Company- 3 years: Trained in Palladium Mambo/Salsa. Became choreographer/instructor within 1 month. Hoya Dance Sport- 4 years: Trained and competed in Ballroom Dancing International 10 dance (Jive, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Cha Cha, Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Tango) Gary McIntyre- 2 years: Training in Dance technique Go Dance Studio- 6 years: Training in Country Western (Two Step, Triple Two) and West Coast Swing, DVIDA training, Instructor for 6 years in Social Latin (Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha, Salsa, East Coast Swing/Jitterbug)
