Introduction: When buying a house, you are dealing with a ton of people with a vested interest. Realtors want you to buy for their commission, HVAC people want you to upgrade that furnace to a high-efficiency system and the list goes on. A home inspector is the one person in the process that isn't going to make anymore or any less money if you buy. We are an independent investigator with only your best interest in mind. My favorite thing about home inspections is the home itself. Some homes are over a hundred years old and strong as the date they were built. During my inspection, I get into areas that may or may not have been seen in dozens of years. It's like a trip back in time.

I hired Kelvin to inspect my condo 2 days before I was set to close. I needed quick turn-around and he promised me a report for that same day and delivered. My realtor was adamant I didnt need an inspection but I wanted the peace of mind, and good thing I did because he found an outlet that didnt work, a leak in the bathroom that I somehow missed, and he pointed out some things that werent up to today's building standards. I was able to negotiate a small credit and now have a nice to-do list of improvements I can make. Slightly priced higher than other quotes I got, but I really needed the report ASAP and I'm happy I decided it was worth the extra cost. Would recommend.

Kelvin was reasonably priced, transparent about his pricing and available on short notice for a condo inspection. He took into consideration the elements we were concerned about and took additional care to look them over. He was also clear about what was and was not covered in the inspection. In conducting the inspection he took his time, took photos and pointed out items that we should be aware of. The entire interaction was very pleasant and his professionalism shone. Being able to pay with credit card and have the detailed report the same evening electronically are some of the modern and appreciated conviniences of working with Kelvin. Great service from start to finish!

Great experience overall. I needed a home inspection within 2 days before I sign the contract. Kelvin made time to come and check my future coop in Queens. During the whole process he explained every step to me and what can be considered major or what I can just fix myself. All rooms were rooms were inspected carefully. He delivered the final report the same day which is very detailed and has lot of pictures.

My prices start at $350 for most single family homes and $200 for most condos. Pricing will depend on square footage and/or multiple families units.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After receiving a request I will submit my pricing along with relevant information for what is included in my fee and what I can offer that my competitors cannot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over ten years of Construction Management, Operations management, and Home Inspecting. I am fully licensed by the State of New York and carry Limited Liability insurance as well as Errors and Omissions insurance.
