Introduction: Hi there! Please THINK before you CLICK. I'm Adam P. Murphy, a teaching artist. I work REMOTELY (or in person in NYC). I work with both actors and non-actors daily. It takes commitment to start and consistency to finish. Do you have the HEART to SHOW UP and FOLLOW THROUGH? I help people -live confidently in the moment and make strong choices (decisions are destiny!) -take ACTION towards their goals -expand their creative pallettes -package and present impactful stories -bring out their best selves -love and enhance their natural voice -strengthen conversational English -project leadership qualities -assume more active roles in life and work -be better team players and collaborators -persuade and influence audiences -improve selling and negotiating skills -ace presentations, pitches, meetings and inverviews -master auditioning/"self-taping" scenes and monologues The power of your voice is the power to DO. Take action to evolve your craft and career! Request a free intro class and discover how I can help you! If you listen and write things down, and at least try what I suggest, you’ll learn quickly. INVESTigate your potential. (A single conversation with a wise man is better than years of study.) $80 for 90 minutes or $65 for 60 minutes $35 for first scene (special rate for audition coaching) Save $30 when you sign up for six 90 minute classes! ($450) or Save $25 when you sign up for six 60 minute classes! ($365) What can I break down or build up for you? I've helped actors and voice actors book roles and obtain representation. I've also helped a wide range of professionals prepare for interviews, earn promotions, develop video content and presentations, write and deliver speeches, pitches, poems and jokes for high-profile audiences, sell products and property, and handle difficult interpersonal situations, while improving diction, cadence, modulation and pronunciation. Note: I do NOT formally cover musical theater, singing or dance training. About Adam P. Murphy and “Industry Eye”: I help stars SHINE and winners WIN. I'm the guy I wish I'd met when I first started down my professional path. Fortunately, I’ve since learned from A LOT of great teachers! Over 30 years as an actor, 24 years voice acting. I also study, perform and teach comedy. Words to describe me: motivator, innovator, educator, dreamer, healer Few people I meet nowadays believe I used to be painfully shy. Through my studies of acting, voice acting, improvisation, selling, marketing, interviewing, negotiating, hosting, singing, rapping, writing, directing, casting and comedic performance, I have come further from “the old days” than I ever thought possible, which is why I chose 3 years ago to begin helping other people get to where THEY want to be (and beyond). I got into teaching to help my friends In the entertainment industry pivot and develop new skills. I envisioned myself as Morpheus, uploading skills into their minds in the shortest time possible (the robots are here, and I’m your best bet for survival in the "metaverse"). Every one of my clients gets the same, uncompromising level of service, provided they are committed to their growth. I work with all ages and skill levels. My value is in my trained eye and ear, which I use to help you discover creative solutions and make strong choices. I take a fun, practical, intuitive approach that motivates the imagination and amplifies your personal strengths, while enhancing your presence, impact and storytelling skills. The key is to be in the moment, and let your words and body work in seamless collaboration. Not taking my class will cost you a lot more than taking it will. “You must either modify your dreams or magnify your skills.” -Jim Rohn If you can survive a pandemic, you can survive an acting class. Acting skills are life skills and I take creating seriously (your WORK is your WORTH). Let's make a game plan! I help actors and voice actors prepare for and build careers, and help professionals and creatives master public speaking. “(A colleague) said it was 100 times better than when I started and one of the best presentations she'd ever seen. I'm sure I would have crashed and burned without all your help. Thank you again!!!!"-Ron Depasquale, Senior Live News Editor at The New York Times “Booked a movie role today and when I auditioned for it I could hear your voice in my head the whole time. I can’t thank you enough for your insight and help. Excited to keep working harder!” -comedian/actor Chanel Ali “Adam, you ALWAYS come through in the clutch. Your guidance and faith in people is just unmatched.” -actor Alinca Hamilton “I love working with you because you don’t miss a thing” -actor Pooya Mohseni “You definitely inspired me today ! Thank you” -Ada of Rapid Belief Change LLC “Honestly, it went better than expected” -LA realtor Chase Rogers about a British TV appearance “Adam is passionate, dedicated, honest and professional, and brings out the best in his clients. I’m very lucky to have him!!!” -author/model/actor Kimberly Dawn “You have already helped me so much. Just that (first) session. Thinking differently about being and sounding judgmental.” -Catherine P, 65 "Compliment: you're the first person who has helped me to begin identifying my own walls. It’s extremely hard to break down walls when you aren’t aware where they are or how to identify them, so thank you." -new voice actor Marsha Fennell “You get what you put into it. If you're willing to interact with the things he sends, then you'll find this is an incredibly educational and possibly even enlightening course. He's very open with scheduling, whether you're working a steady 9-5, or whether you only work weekends, so there's no real excuse not to schedule a class.” -new voice actor George Johnson, 18 “Well, that did something” -massage therapist/voice actor Dusty Weideman “I’ve been profiting so much from these lessons!” -actor/boxer Kamal Gomes, 18 “This was epic” -actor/teacher Kinga Nowak

Adam is extraordinary! I’ve had the privilege of taking 3 classes with Adam and learned so much about film and voice acting! He has so much knowledge about the industry. I found him to be very compassionate and personable-he always took the time to work on scenes with me step by step. He cares so much for his students’ success. He is truly a treasure in this industry! Unfortunately, I have to pause my lessons with him because of financial reasons but will be returning for more of his classes in the future.

I would add punctuality and value to my review for Adam, but I was only able to add three of the five including professionalism, responsiveness, and value. Adam is the real deal. I feel fortunate to be able to work with someone of his caliber. He is an excellent teacher and breaks down the various acting techniques in a way no one I’ve worked with has before. At the end of the day, it is ultimately up to me to put in the work, but Adam provides all the necessary tools to help me become successful in my endeavors to become a voice over actor. I would highly recommend him!

Adam went above and beyond in helping with my audition! I reached out, and he responded within ten minutes, and we has a session the same day! He shared so much foundational knowledge with me about VO acting. He helped me create a character, not just a voice. I'll definitely be booking again!

Adam is an amazing teacher to work with. He is very responsive, accommodating and knowledgeable. For someone who is relatively new to acting and learning how to read scripts properly and effectively; Adam is great at telling you areas to work on, how to make your delivery better and working with you on material until you feel more confident in the material and yourself! I definitely recommend working with him as he brings good tools and information to the table, and is dedicated to helping you succeed as long as you are willing to put in the work.
