Introduction: I have 25 years of playing experience, and I have a degree in jazz performance from the University of North Texas.
I provide lessons for all ages. I've taught students from 5-50 years old. I believe that music is a skill that can be learned at any stage of life.
I teach rock, blues, folk, etc. I can also teach basic mandolin and banjo as well as home recording.

Brian Boyle has learned the tricks of the trade through tireless study of many music styles with the guitar as his focus. His keen ear is informed by his experience performing and composing in a variety of music styles, including rock, jazz, folk and pop. I have been fortunate enough to share the stage as well as work in the studio with Brian on many occasions, and he has never failed to impress me with his musical sensitivity and endless creativity. His curiosity and natural talent is equally matched by his ability to explain difficult concepts to others. I would not hesitate to recommend Brian as a guitar teacher for anyone, of any level.

Brian can effortlessly play smoking bluegrass of the most authentic nature and then turn around and channel Jeff Beck with the next bend of a string. Brian has a vast knowledge of guitars and other stringed instruments from how they are built to how they are played and made to sound good!
