Introduction: Mammoth Projects is a full service architectural and interior design practice based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We work on projects in and around NYC, the Hamptons, and occasionally board a plane, train, or automobile for the right client.
Founded in 2010 by Maryana Grinshpun, we are a small studio that prides itself on creating a truly collaborative process between ourselves, and our clients.
Our commercial work focuses on creating spaces that further the visions of the brands we work with. We learn about the collective histories of the business, the team, and the founders; we listen to where they want to go. We build that story into the space we create.
Our residential projects focus on materiality and light. We seek to create thoughtful and elegant spaces you’d want to come home to.
Maryana Grinshpun was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and raised in NYC, where she’s largely been based, minus some brief stints in Copenhagen, London and Kuala Lumpur.
Prior to pursuing a career in architecture and design, Maryana studied Economics at the City University of New York and the University of Copenhagen. She received her BA in 2004, and subsequently worked with United Nations Development Programme. She received her Master of Architecture from the City University of New York in 2008. Prior to starting her own practice, Maryana worked with several innovative firms in New York City including Systems Archites, Inaba/C-lab, G-Tects and Design Bureaux.
Hanging with our clients!
