I moved in to a new Coop apartment about a month ago and realized that there was no outlet for my stove and only a single convenience outlet in the kitchen. Thus, my search for an electrician began. I also had an old electrical panel with no more space for new lines and decided to upgrade that as well. Overall, I had to have work done in every room of the apartment. I got a few quotes on Thumbtack, a few through word of mouth and some through yelp. That first step really separated Josh from the rest of the electricians. His quote was the only one that made sense to me - All the others were either dangerously low or ridiculously high. Aside from the cost, he was just so much easier than the rest to communicate with. He returned calls, explained things well and was a nice and friendly person. Im sure a jerk can do a great electrical job too, but I prefer the stress-free route. Overall, Josh did an excellent job. He was able to start right away and finished within the time he said would (3-4 days for my work). He called me every night to go over what had been done that day and what was going to be worked on the next day. He was also able to work around my cats being home while he was working (we locked them in a separate room). Although Im sure Josh and his team ran into minor problems with my old apartment along the way, I never once heard about it they just took care of it. I cant recommend Josh enough. You will get what you paid for, in the amount of time he says it will take with no headache along the way. What more could you want?

By far the most professional experience I've ever had. Communication was above average. Pricing was very fare and execution was above standard. Josh understood all details of the job and was able to guide decisions. The decisions were absolutely not about him making an extra buck, but about making the electric/lighting work for the space. His crew was outstanding. They over delivered, were communicative and cleaned up after each work day which made the entire experience unobtrusive. The cuts they made into the walls were "as close as one could get" resulting in minimal plastering. Everyone working on the project was working on the project.
