- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on my experience, labor, materials, sales tax, and the amount and complexity of the restoration. I usually apply a different rate for bulk items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My initial contact with a potential Client includes a cost estimate that is based on a physical home visit. Judging a project solely on a photo can create miscalculations in labor, materials and price. I create a contract between the Client and my company, and decide on a start date. We have other provisions, in the contract, which we do not discuss, publicly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, and can look at any piece and tell you it's origin. I also feel honored, to have had the opportunity, to work with some of the best Artisans in Furniture Restoration, in the world!
