Greenwood Robinson did a complete makeover for our 20X50 backyard in Brooklyn, including fencing and tree removal and with no direct access. Sam was extremely creative and innovative throughout the entire process. He had a great team as well, that we enjoyed working with. They followed through on time commitments and communicated well regarding any changes required. We highly recommend Greenwood Robinson. You will not be disappointed.

Greenwood Robinson did the plantings on my rooftop deck. Job included the selection and installation of planters, plants, and an automatic irrigration system. I'm very pleased with the outcome of the project. I found Sam Robinson easy to work with and responsive to my suggestions and callback.

Underwhelmed with the level of gardening expertise. He was really nice yet I only got a pricey clean-up at $75/hr. He plus helper bagged up 6-7 bags of winter leaves and debris by hand. I expected some digging, turning of soil, etc. He snipped here & there...I needed some stubborn Houttaniya dug up. My mistake was in not supervising and leaving the job to a gardener's discretion. Oversee to get what you expect is my advice. In the end, he asked for $75/hour per each person (ouch!) but as that was not my understanding, the expected initial $75/hr. fee was maintained and accepted. Basically, I hired a handyman--not a gardener. A 2-person job by able bodied men should have reaped better results .

He came out to see my yard and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Very knowledgeable and patient.

Details: Residential • No existing plans - need design suggestions • Small (1,000 - 2,500 sq ft) • No, I would like the gardener's help buying plants • Yes, I need a drip system installed • Every other week
