Hired Simply Moving to move 1 bedroom apartment from NYC to NJ. Inexperienced mover broke a dresser mirror and a light fixture in my new house. I was told to submit a claim to Simply Moving by emailing them details of the incident. I have sent multiple emails and called multiple times and continue to be told someone will get back to me. It's been three weeks and I haven't heard anything. Sounds like I won't get re-imbursed for the damages Simply Moving's inexperienced movers had done. Damaged dressers and used tape to close items that should have been wrapped then taped....caused toys to be ruined due to tape sticking to their toys. Insisted on tip in cash before beginning job. Had to plead to add items that were on estimate. You had a very large move and we did a full packing job for you including all our boxes and all dish ware and moved you corps country to Ohio within several days. Since then we paid you for the damage and resolved you claim based on the free coverage you had with us.
