FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have many interests but none have them have burned with the sustained intensity of my love for music. It is a constant source of inspiration and joy.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire the teacher that you think is the best and make sure that they can both teach and play. Some great musicians are not great teachers. I don't know that many great music teachers who are not also at least very good musicians themselves. It is very important to start off with a good teacher who cares about your progress. Bad habits are very difficult to unlearn and, once ingrained, they can be frustratingly persistent.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Learning an instrument is an extremely rewarding pursuit, but in order to reap the rewards, the student must put in regular (not necessarily lengthy) practice.
