Tutorology

Introduction: The teaching philosophy of Tutorology is simple: students learn differently, and it's the task of the educator to determine a student's learning style and prepare relevant lessons. I specialize in ESL, writing, literature, and the college admissions process (SAT prep, the college essay, resumes). I've worked with students of all ages, from Kindergarten to college, developing unique lesson plans for each student. The focus will be on strategy, organization, and specific skill-building, above memorization. Besides academic work, I'm an experienced guitar teacher who can give you the tools you need to start playing your favorite songs within the first couple of sessions. More importantly, I ground my lessons in music theory concepts that will allow you to improvise on the guitar and start writing your own songs.
