Introduction: Bonfire Wellness is unique in that we provide one-on-one and small group personal training in addition to hands-on nutrition coaching. Every client's program begins with a fitness assessment and a grocery trip, both conducted with a trainer, so that all of the guidance we provide is tailored to each client as an individual. We enjoy helping people make the most of their own hard work. We as trainers spend hours every week working with each other to improve our craft. That way the workouts we put together for our clients can be as efficient and as effective as possible, so that we can help our clients achieve the best results possible with each week, each session and each movement.

Steve is the first personal trainer I've ever worked with, and he has set a very high standard. I was quite out of shape at my first fitness evaluation, but Steve put me at ease. I felt that I didn't need to worry because he knows his stuff. He talked about muscles and exercises that were new to me, and that was exciting. I'd grown tired of my old 'run until I don't feel like running anymore' fitness routine. I signed up, committed to two 1-hour sessions per week and have been enjoying it! The workouts are strenuous but he's cheerful and personable and that helps me tremendously. It's clear that he has a plan for my fitness, since we make tangible progress at every class. I highly recommend Steve as a personal trainer!

Following hip replacement surgery on February 2nd 2015, I contacted Steve to get my rehab going. I was going to Scottsdale, AZ for spring training and knew 24 Hour had several outlets there. At the time I was afraid I had spent too many $$, but instead it was a great investment and much more effective than my medical rehab. Steve had prior experience with hip replacement clients, but more relevant was his knowledge of physiology. I was not only dealing with the effects of the surgery, but of a year of inactivity leading up to the surgery. Steve helped get long dormant muscle groups working effectively. He was relentless in diagnosing where I was and inventive and patient at finding the right machine and weight to get dormant muscle groups reinvigorated. His efforts allowed my surgeon to "turn me loose" on June 4 instead of July 23 as planned. I played my first round of golf last week and was very pleased with my posture, swing and stamina.

I have trained with 5 different certified personal trainers, and Steve Baldino ranks #1 out the 5 that I've hired to personally train me. I'll list all the reasons I think he makes the best personal trainer for hire. 1. He is very punctual & reliable, and he has never been late. He is always early, even though he knows I'm most likely going to be late. 2. He is very knowledgeable. He knows more about physiology & anatomy than any other personal trainer I've ever used. He helped me correct my structural issues and posture. He let's me know what I'm going to be doing, what muscles should be working, how it benefits me, and most importantly, that I'm constantly using correct form. He also knows a lot about nutrition. 3. He his extremely professional. He would ask permission before assisting me in stretches, or any other circumstances that required him to touch me, such as taking my measurements. 4. He holds you accountable. He will always ask me about my eating habits, and suggest better alternatives. He would give me gentle nudges to commit to our sessions, but he was never too pushy, just encouraging. 5. He's convenient, and he comes to you. He makes it as convenient to you as possible. Steve has trained me in three different gyms according to my needs. To conclude, I truly feel that Steven is as dedicated to my fitness needs & goals as I am, and more likely than not, even more so! I highly recommend him.
