FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My shoots are priced as follows: $100+/hour for work that takes place in my private studio, or for on-location sessions it's $200 for the first hour and $150 for every hour after. 50% of the estimated price is due up front to secure the appointment (non-refundable), and the remaining 50% will be due before delivery of final files (all payments must be made via Venmo or in cash, I do not accept checks or money orders).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we discuss (via email) the creative brief, and if we both find we are a good match for each other, then we work out pricing, location, scheduling, aesthetic vision, shot list, etc. After the proposal is accepted and the deposit is made, we schedule a time and date for the photoshoot. I shoot either on-location or in my private studio (in Bushwick). Shortly after the shoot is finished (usually within a couple of days), all usable, edited images will be uploaded to a private viewing gallery, and your final invoice will be due. Once this payment has been made, your images will be delivered. If you have purchased a limited package, you'll be able to select which of the images you'd like to receive, otherwise, most other shoots are "all inclusive".
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, and an Associate's degree in film-making, and 3 technical certifications from Apple. I have also taken many independent courses since college, and am constantly learning new things every day out in the field, from books, and by others in my profession.
