- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The obvious answer - I wanted to help people feel better! The not-so-obvious answer is that I had tried reflexology myself and experienced immediate results - improved health and of course, relaxation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients are looking for a way to relax; already love or are curious about reflexology; are into alternative medicine in general; love massage/being pampered; or have feet that could use some knowledgeable care and attention.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When it comes to looking for holistic practitioners, seek those who work within a community of like-minded individuals. We share information, and discuss techniques and are thus more knowledgable and open-minded. While I might not practice acupuncture or herbal medicine myself, the exposure I've had to them gives me a broader familiarity with holistic approaches and their benefits.
