FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

in our over 42 years in business we have worked with every type of customer imaginable that would require a security guard. Currently our main client base consists of residential apartments/hi-rise buildings, office buildings, NYS & Federal government facilities (Rensselaer County, US Army, DOD, NYS Dept. of Correctional Services), schools (SUNY Stony Brook), construction site (Sciame, Skanska), Business Improvement Districts, Neighborhood Patrols, Shopping Center patrols, Nursing homes, Medical offices, homeless/transitional housing/shelters, and retail stores throughout NYS

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently we were awarded several contracts which we are very proud of, including security guard service for campus dorms at SUNY Stony Brook University, the guard service contract for US Army Corp of Engineers at the Troy Federal Lock & Dam in upstate NY, and a large national property management company awarding BRS a contract to provide guard service to a portfolio of several different Brooklyn co-op apartment buildings.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

make sure the company you hire is legitimately experienced (you check their references carefully/make sure they are legit), properly licensed & insured, and offering a fair/realistic price that is not too far under or over market pricing. Have a clearly defined idea of what you want the guards to do/be responsible for in the service agreement, and that the firm is properly insured to protect your liability.
