Where do I start about my journey with my dear Melodee? My goodness it has been near 11 years. My search began for a seamstress when I had just turned 21 & I started going on vacations, I have a body that regular retail bathing suits just will not fit. Well, up to my standards anyway, I’m a literal perfectionist as Melodee also is with her work, so we are an absolute fit made in heaven. I found her on the internet, after countacting many other seamstresses I had found, Melodee was the only one who was down to earth & undesrood my vision through my regular “non-seamstress” language, to the T!!! Everything ALWAYS comes out EXACTLY how I imagine. She is just magical. Her work is OUTSTANDING & she treats every garmet as if she was wearing it to a Gala herself. Every style, fabric, body type. If it is possible, believe me, Melodee will concur it & surpass your expectations immensely. Other then all of this, she is more then a wonderful person, such a pleasure & so soooo funny! She is not only my seamstress & lifesaver but now my friend. I would have no bathing suits without her (oh, & also I’ve had her make over the top Halloween costumes & gowns for black tie events, every item beyond AMAZING) I visit her for ALL of my seamstress needs! I NEED her!! If you need a seamstress, I’m telling you, contact Melodee & clam your nerves about worrying about your finished project!

Susanne is wonderful to work with! She worked very closely with me to take a dress that was a fantasy in my head and make it a beautiful reality that I have still never worn without getting stopped by strangers who shower me with compliments! No, my pricing is based mostly on design and fabric choice.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with my client where we discuss design, take measurements and discuss time frame for project completion. After that we set dates for fittings and the sewing process begins.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have school and on the job training. It's also been a lot of trial and error.
