- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50/half-hour, $75/45min and $100/hour. I also offer a sliding scale for those who need it (45 + 60 mins only). Please be in touch to find out more. I also have packages of 8 lessons at a 15% savings for those students who want to commit to ongoing & regular lessons (conditions apply). I take credit card payments through paypal, venmo, or direct deposit for online lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first talk through what each student would like to achieve with their lessons, and ask about their background in singing & music, and then assess their voice and make a lesson plan around that. I suggest that 8 lessons (once/week) is a good start to really see some results, and the more practice and more effort you put in the more you will get out!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Performance and Composition from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and continued studying voice and completed a teacher training through BAST. I have also studied music production and film scoring at Juilliard's evening division, and have recorded, performed and toured my own music as well as in friends' bands. I have also been teaching for 15 years, and enjoy keeping up with all things singing!
