Read reviews that mention:
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First lesson is free! I also offer discounts if purchasing multiple lessons. I am flexible in terms of pricing and work with each student with what they are wanting to spend for lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly, I ask my new students questions not only about their experience with music, but also what else interests them. I like to get to know my students and tell them a bit about myself as well. This helps me build a stronger student-teacher relationship, but it also tells me a lot about them as a music student and as a person.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from NYU with a degree in Vocal performance and flute performance. I have been studying music since a I can remember. I've been an actor/performer unmanly stages regionally across the country, as well as in New York. I've also been a student for my whole life. I am classically trained and carry this discipline into teaching my lessons. However, I also have learned that students need to connect to the music they are learning. Otherwise, there isn't much interest and the work ethic fizzles out.
