Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hello Drew :) Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! I would be so happy to be a part of your special day! I have experience with both traditional and non-traditional services for all religious backgrounds. Most are spiritual rather than religious, and all are created specifically for each couple individually. My services are all inclusive. There is never an additional fee for helping with vows, creating the ceremony, travel or performing the ceremony. I take great pride in providing my couples with the most magical day they can imagine. If you would like to chat before making a decision, I can be reached at the phone number in my profile (Thumbtack doesn't allow it to be used here), and I will answer any questions you may have. (Text first please and I will get right back to you!) Here is making magic happen, one wedding at a time! All the best, Deb Sisco

It makes me so happy to know that I got this whole shebang going! When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our dear friend, Deb to be a part of our wedding day. I had heard of friends getting ordained to perform wedding ceremonies, but I wasn't sure if hubby would go for it... One day I threw it out there when we were discussing WHO was going to marry us... You see my DH was raised Catholic and I came from Jewish and Protestant parents... This was making the ceremony part hard to figure out... So I suggested we have a friend get ordained to marry us, and at the same moment we both said, "Deb!" We called her on the spot, and once she stopped crying, she said yes! We couldn't have made a better choice! Deb went through the ordaining process and became official! We met together to discuss what we wanted our ceremony to include and within a week we received our whole ceremony planned out! Deb was great! I wanted to change a few words around at one point, but felt bad making changes. I'll never forget her response,"Silly... It's your ceremony, you should have the wording however you like!" Deb took and incorporated my suggestions as to how I wanted the ceremony to flow, put her Deb touch on it, and we couldn't have been happier! I am pleased to report that due to our ceremony, Deb has added in one additional line to her ceremonies... the words "Please be seated!" Our ceremony was so great that no one minded standing through it, but we realized afterwards that since no one had said "Please be seated," everyone stood the whole time! We still laugh about it to this day! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Deb is an amazing person, a wonderful friend and an oustanding officiant! She brought a warm presence to our ceremony, keeping it very personal and intimate. If you're looking for an officiant who isn't going to put your guests to sleep, who will add personal anecdotes to your ceremony and with whom you will form a life long bond, then Deb is the way to go! I cannot recommend her highly enough! Our ceremony was all I could have asked for and more!

Our wedding was everything we had hoped it would be. That's because we had Eternally Bound Weddings! We needed a ceremony that was light on the religion but heavy on the laughter and heart. That's a fine line to walk but Debra was able to pull it off. It was the perfect ceremony for us, because it was made for us. I have attended weddings where the person doing the ceremony miss pronounced the couples names! So one thing I really wanted for our wedding was more familiarity. Debra listened to our needs and helped make our day extra special.

We were lucky enough to have Deb officiate our August wedding at the top of Hunter Mountain. We met with Deb and talked with her several times before we met and she was able to come up with an unforgettable personalized wedding ceremony for us. She captured everything we hoped she would and even found the perfect way to incorporate the important people in our lives. We are so greatful for her!

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently I married a couple from Florida. We never met before the wedding, all the work was done by phone and emails. We worked on the ceremony for a few weeks, then finally met about an hour before the ceremony, which was in Central Park. It was one of the lovliest weddings I have presided over. Both partners were thrilled!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice in hiring an Officiant is to find someone you connect with. You want the person performing your ceremony to be comfortable with you as a couple, because that will show to the guests.
