- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, we don't, because for us, there is no "standard" customer. Our prices are not based on square feet, number of rooms or number of windows. Our clients are individuals, with individual circumstances, personal needs etc. Of course, we have a standard program we feel a Maid Service should include, but in the end of the day, our services are "custom-fit".
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to work with my customers. In order to provide an accurate quote, I need to understand the needs and desires. Also, both of us, my (future) customer as well as me, want to know exactly, what the other one is expecting or providing. That is why I would like to get to know my clients personally, as well as to find out as much as possible of the requested service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I enjoyed several years of personal training in the cleaning business. In Germany I specialized in the beginning in washing windows, cleaning offices, taking care of rental properties etc. In 1997, I founded my own facility management company in Germany. Since then I build up my professional cleaning skills, as well as managing my own crew. In 2012 we moved to Buffalo and started our family owned, locally operated You've Got Maids Franchise, and received specialized training in professional Home Cleaning. Our Maids are undergoing the same "Maids University" Training program to skillfully and professionally clean Your Home, Rental Property or Office.
