When we first enrolled our children in music lessons instead of preschool we were adament that they each would play a different instrument. We did not know at that time what excellent teachers we would find at the Castellani-Andriaccio Studio. We felt the other two would missing out in so many ways. Now all three of our children are students there,and we are so pleased. They each come with varied strengths, talents and energy levels. I know they all feel valued and are motivated to be their best by Joanne. We cannot say enough of the kindness, patience and teaching methods, unique for each child. They are being taught by world class guitarists, who are also world class teachers. They mention often that they want to be famous like Miss Joanne, and especially love beating her at games!

Both of our sons are enrolled in classical guitar lessons at The Castellani Andriaccio Guitar Studios, in which the Suzuki classical guitar method is taught. Our oldest son began when he was 4 and youngest son at 5. They are now 12 and 8. It has been amazing to witness their musical growth and accomplishments thoughout the years! We have been very fortunate to have Joanne Castellani as their teacher. She is not only an accomplished classical guitarist, but a remarkable teacher as well. Her technique, attention to detail, positive influence, kindness and patience with our sons has been absolutely wonderful. We have also enjoyed watching our sons perform at many different venues. These opportunities have been invaluable in promoting their self-confidence and showcasing the beautiful pieces they have learned. Playing classical guitar has truly enriched their lives--and the lives of our entire family.

Joanne has been teaching my daughter Ausra since she was five years old. Over the course of these six years, I have seen Ausra grow more than I can believe. At first, we focused on holding the guitar and not wiggling. Since then, Ausra has performed at Kleinhans for international audiences. At every step, Joanne has been kind, calm, fun, and most of all, patient. She is a natural with children, and teaches using games and child-friendly concepts.
Between running a recording label, organizing the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Competition, and performing her own concerts all over the world (including the White House), I honestly do not know how Joanne fits lessons into her schedule. I am just thankful that she does, and that my daughter has the privilege of learning from her.

The Castellani Andriaccio studio features world-class guitars who are also superb teachers. Sensitive, careful, thoughtful, and motivating instruction that considers the strengths and needs of each person, from the youngest child to the oldest adult. I know--my son started at a very young age (with impressive results on his focus and concentration, as well as his playing) and I began, well, at a *much* later point in life. I am a former kindergarten teacher and now professor of education, and I wish most teachers were as knowledgeable as this wonderful group.

My son takes classical guitar lessons at the Castellani Andriaccio guitar studio. We are privileged to have access to these internationally acclaimed guitarists. Joanne is a warm person and kind teacher. Her ability to instruct guitar is excellent and I continually see steady progress in my son's playing and technique.
