- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started out with side jobs, which pushed me into a full time business in 2005 I became a registered painting business. Managing property and renovating them. In a short time I was managing 3 houses with 2 rental units in each, renovating them, overseeing them, and all the inns and outs of property management. I never thought I would come this far as a small business owner to this day. I try to take on new things and see where they may lead me. It never hurts to try something new.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Complete apartment renovations which include but not limited to painting, plaster repair, drywall and kitchen and bathroom renovations. Flooring, tile, windows and doors, plumbing, exterior paint jobs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? When doing a exterior paint job it is very important to ask the contractor how he goes about it. If he says he power washes the house and then paints it..... I strongly recommend not hiring them. Power washing a house and painting it is the worst thing you can do. I always keep my eyes out at what other contractors are doing on there job sites, what materials they use and never once have I seen a good quality job come out of power washing. As a matter of fact yes is does get done quicker but I have also watched a house start to peel before they were even finished with it. In no time you will be looking to get your house repainted within 3 years.
