- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $75 per hour at my home office, $120 if I travel to you. Occasionally I will offer a lower rate for a first time client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I ask some questions, to try to understand what my client wants or expects from a session, and then when they are on the table, I try to feel what is going on. So my pressure can be lighter at first, gradually deepening until a therapeutic and tolerable level is reached. I always provide some relief in a first treatment, but lasting results may take a few sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated with honors from the New York College of Health Professions, receiving an Associates Degree. I also have specialized training in Aromatherapy, Sports Massage and Thai Massage. I am a Pain and Posture upper body specialist, certified by the Freedom From Pain Academy. I am also a Level 2 Japanese Usui Reiki practitioner, working my way towards becoming a Master. I am also enrolled in a Yoga Dual certification course from Yoga Vista Academy.
