Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My strength and my favorite types of videos to work on are training and educational videos. We have won awards in this category. I think we are good at these because we are good at understanding the message the Client wishes to portray in the video and we can storyboard the project very well so the message is clear. Most corporate/sales videos are similarly addressed. We enjoy this work too. My job is varied most days- I never know what kind of video project I will work on next. I like the challenge of making a video technically perfect and pleasing to the intended audience. I also like to make my customers happy!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got into the field of videography in 2003 which stemmed from my love of photography which I started in the early 1970's.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

A videographer is not only an artist but also a technician. A great video needs to be technically sound (great audio, proper exposure, white balanced, etc) but also have good composition- that's where the artistic abiliity comes in. Check out a videographer's past work on similar projects and see if you like what s/he has produced. If you like their past work you will probably like what they will do for you! So, anyone can make a video today. But a great video- well, that's where the magic comes in!
