I contacted Taconicarts via Thumbtack for painting of an entranceway prior to my house going in the market. Jeff Green completed the project to a very high standard and in a timely fashion. I contracted him again to paint shutters at my new house. Again the finished project looked great. I would highly recommend Taconicarts.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to painting there is no 'standard' pricing as every project is different from every other.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to be a corporate geek. Put on a suit and commute to NYC like a million others but there was no satisfaction in that. In painting I've finally found something I truly enjoy doing.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A customer with a split-level ranch rental property in Mahopac had to repaint the entirety of the interior of the house after the previous tenant had painted one room bright-neon yellow, another a deep dark blue and yet another bright-hot pink! In a couple of weeks we resurfaced every wall and ceiling in the home with a neutral color that belied what was previously there, thus significantly increasing the rental value.
