What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understand your needs, coordinate the shoot, do a rough cut, take your changes, deliver the final master.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
New York University Film Classes, FIT, New School, Director of Photography at the University of Stony Brook. Working at CNN, MTV, CBS, and FOX was the best education.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
First I rose to Director of photography while at Stony Brook, worked a bit in photography after college. Then I went on to intern on a sports TV show with Howie Rose (NY Mets announcer), the I was a cameraman, engineer and editor at CNN.. that was really the best education.
